Finished 10DAs Volume 1. Time Reaver is alright, there’s nothing spectacular in the way of character work but some nice concepts and Tennant sells the Doctor’s love of the locale. Death and the Queen is really good; the focus on Donna serves her very well and the whole thing is both brilliantly funny and serious.
Now onto Volume 3!

Finally finished a re-listen to series 2 of Gallifrey recently and made it most of the way through series 3.
I'm not entirely sure why but Gallfrey 3.4 Mindbomb really stood out as a particularly excellent story this time around listening through series 3.

10DAs 3.3 The Creeping Death - excellent story, felt very authentic to Ten's TV era and the 50s setting.
(And the very best of luck to everyone hunting it down on vinyl today! Allons-y les collectors! )

Torchwood: Moving Target
Revisiting in light of Sync, it’s very good. Hope Big Finish do more with Suzie.

Just come off Shock Troops from Blake's 7: Crossfire.
Outstanding. There's something to be said for a story told from a Federation soldier's perspective that's both sympathetic to them and gets you to despise the Federation even more than you did before. It reminds me a bit of The Ballad of Halo Jones, actually, that last volume where she joins up with the services.

Puttering around on the computer and listening to audios the last day or so. I'm up to 4.1 with my attempt to re-listen to as much of Gallifrey as possible. Also gave another listen to the superb first volume of Jago & Litefoot, and paid a visit to The Divergent Universe with another listen to Scherzo, Creed of the Kromon, and The Natural History of Fear.

So yesterday managed to listen to 132 Architects of History. Hummh wasn’t as good as I’d remembered, ( last listened about 7 years ago ) and still don’t get the ending.

Post toby the robodog with a dark secret, Halo becomes infactuated with her C.O.

River Song Volume 5. Still awesome. Especially River vs. Missy. Looking forward to Ravenous 4- hoping for an even more awesome entry for the Masters...

Today I listened to the second half of 'Seasons Of Fear' (well, bar the last five minutes, but I'll be listening to them in bed, so who's counting?!). You know, I think I've enjoyed this story more this time than on previous occasions

Its nearly 8pm on a Sunday nite.. Day 2 of a 7 day wintry/rain/cold spell.. I am ready for bed now so I have loaded up "The Chimes Of Midnight" to have a crack before I fall asleep.. Perfect weather for this type of story
