This was a great little story. Colin did a fantastic job with it, really kept me interested and listening. The ending was great, but made me wonder if I am missing background that would help me understand it better, as I am relatively new to the Dark Shadow range.

The ending was great, but made me wonder if I am missing background that would help me understand it better, as I am relatively new to the Dark Shadow range. It was pretty much the first one I listened to when I was introduced to the range and it was partially responsible for hooking me in so I think it does stand on its own merits. Yes, there's the "appearances" of other characters and Nicholas Blair is a character from the show who has a certain weight, but I don't think you need to know it. It's still satisfying and you know what's happened. The past knowledge can add flavour, but I think Joe and Davy are very good at not making it a requirement. Colin puts in a couple more appearances in DS by the way and does a fantastic job in them. I think it's this release that made me realise he had more to him than "just" the Sixth Doctor. (And let's face it, he's done a grand job with Sixie for Big Finish over the years, but he has so much more to offer.)

Colin Baker definitely has more in him than just the Sixth Doctor. He’s an excellent actor. I could see that from the first performance of his that I saw.

The Doctor Who actors who have appeared in the DS range have all been great. Colin, Louise Jameson, Nicola Bryant are all brilliant...and Matthew Waterhouse is just absolutely necessary in Dark Shadows now, as far as I'm concerned. His contributions both acting and writing have added so much to the range.

{Spoiler} The first performance of his that I saw was as 'Bayban the Butcher' in B7 'City at the Edge of the World'.
It's a great episode and Colin Baker is brilliant; funny and very menacing at the same time.

Yup, saw it too. When I met Colin at a con, I was wearing a t-shirt from the above-mentioned spoiler and he immediately pulled out a picture of himself as the character you mention.

One of my favorite of the entire range. I constantly recommend it to people who are looking to try it out. Colin is fantastic.
