Yes there is nothing like more Dorian, especially on a Monday. Just what I needed to jump start the week. And we now know a bit of what is happening for the first 3 stories, so that's very exciting. Have to admit I was cracking up at the death threats part. Yeah that Christmas special was a real shocker, not for the faint of heart lol. But @scotthandcock, I think you are doing your job when you get us so emotionally invested. I mean if a story doesn't make you care, then what's the point?

Alex confirms the return of Hugh [Skinner], Tracy [Childs] and Bernard [Holley]! (~38 min mark)
Personally I'm most excited about Bernard because I felt he should make some sort of reappearance following the events of Series 3.
I'm more nervous about Hugh and Tracy as I feel that their story arcs are complete (albeit unpleasantly). Despite that I do trust Big Finish and Scott to have done it well.

I'm looking forward to Dorothy Parker in 40's Hollywood, and not just because I've been watching Agent Carter season 2.

I personally don't see that Toby's arc has ended. To me it is more the Empire Strikes Back Type of Ending setting us up for the finale but that being said we knew he was going to be in it because Spoiler for Christmas Special: DO NOT READ if you aren't caught up. The end of the Christmas special. I would be very surprised if the last story doesn't deal with the aftermath of that . Even if he isn't Toby Toby. Toby who is now the devil should still be there right? Now that being said I am surprised about Tracy Child's too (and I missed that the first time around) but I'm sure there will be an explanation for it. I have complete faith.

I'm not surprised at the return of Toby, but the return of Hugh Skinner because {Spoilers from All Through the House and Pandora}We know that the representation of the devil from the hotel has taken over Toby's body (in fact the last few lines were delivered by Gabriel Woolf, not Hugh Skinner).
He also told Dorian that Toby is now dead i.e. not 'still in there, somewhere'? I would be very disappointed if this were just a matter of the devil lying. Toby being dead also fits better with the curse of the tarot cards from Pandora (Dorian's greatest wish being granted then snatched away to devastating consequences).
Maybe Hugh is in the third episode, or flashbacks only?

Maybe Hugh is in the third episode, or flashbacks only? I may be in denial but no I don't think it is the end of Toby. Granted the final story could be Dorian dealing with the aftermath of bringing the devil into his world and that would be very epic but I still think it's something more.
Actually the devil cannot lie but he can twist the truth. Toby may no longer be in that body but that doesn't mean he isn't somewhere else. He never used the term dead. Instead he said something along the lines of no place left for him to go
And funny you should mention the Pandora cards because I feel that hasn't happened yet. The card showed two lovers in a blaze of fire. What happened in the Christmas special doesn't represent that for me. This is all speculation though. And perhaps we see things differently because we are hoping for different things. Although that being said even if I'm wrong I won't be disappointed. I am looking forward to the ending. Well actually I am not looking forward to the series ending but I am excited for what the ending will be.

That's a really interesting podcast. I suppose very pleasant death threats are better than unpleasant ones!

I agree--excellent podcast!! I could have easily gone the full 64 minutes with only Dorian!
Also, really whetted the appetite for the final series...but like kimalysong, I don't want it to end.

Fantastic podcast, these range explorations have given new life to the podcasts and I'm pleased to hear that Pathfinder Legends will get coverage in the next one. John Ainsworth should be interesting to hear from, we may get some reminisces from Renaissance of the Daleks!

So I am relistening to Pandora and I realized my description of the tarot cards were incorrect I remembered two lovers in a blaze of fire but it was really two rotting corpses in a passionate embrace
Still doesn't change my opinion on the fact that we haven't seen the tarot cards happen yet but I wanted to correct myself
