But could it go between older Peri and Constance?

mark687 But could it go between older Peri and Constance? The Doctor refers to the ending of the Flip story Scavenger as his direct motivation for going to see the Older Peri in The Widow's Assassin, so I really don't feel that there's room for placing anything between them. I haven't heard The Rani Elite (the last of the Older Peri trilogy) or Criss Cross (the first Constance story) yet, but based on mark687's information I'd guess that between Peri and Constance is probably the safest place to put it.

Hello! Thanks guys for your helpful insight on where the J&L Series 11 stories take place during the Sixth Doctor's timeline. I've now placed them between the older Peri stories and the Constance stories. I've done the same for this on the Sixth Doctor's timeline on my 'Bradley's Basement' blog. Enjoy! Tim.

I'm interested where Vampire of the Mind would place on the timeline. I'd say after Constance but before Mel, but there's so many other areas on the timeline that it would fit. Any thoughts?

I don't remember hearing anything in it that nailed down a chronological placement, so at this point I think it's just going to be guesswork.
For now I'm inclined to agree with the post-Constance/pre-Mel placement, if only because it makes sure there's zero chance of continuity goofs.

For lack of evidence, I'd place it after the last solo adventure.

I'll place 'Vampire of the Mind' in the solo adventures with the Sixth Doctor for now. Tim.

Hey guys, I've been thinking and have come to the conclusion that we could probably fit 'Judoon in Chains' in that section too, after 'Vampire of the Mind'. And I guess 'World Enough and Time', from next year's 'The Diary of River Song Volume 2', could fit in there too, as I presume he is also companion-less. But that one can wait until we have more info.

I came to this thread looking for answers as I was confused how Six and Constance have now been joined by Flip when, if you take the order of the stories in The Last Adventure, the companion order appears to be Constance, Charley and THEN Flip.
I was convinced those stories were presented in chronological order and there was some links from story to story which would have meant Flip traveled with the Doctor on her own AFTER Constance? Think I need to go back and relisten to The Last Adventure in the order this timeline suggests!

Will definitely give it a delisten soon while waiting for this months releases to drop! Thanks.

The Darkened Earth goes between Shield of the Jotunn and Absolute Power. This is because in The Darkened Earth, Constance mentions the translation circuits which she finds out about in Shield of the Jotunn, and Absolute Power leads directly into Quicksilver. I’d personally just put it between the two trilogies and after End of the Line but as long as it’s between the two stories I mentioned it’s really up to personal preference.
Also Vortex Ice/Cortex Fire might make more sense between the two Flip trilogies. Originally I would have placed them just before Scavenger, but thinking about it, there’s an arc running through the second trilogy and place those stories in the middle of it kind of interrupts the flow. Again personal preference though.
