Sold for a measly £2 in its final years... [2001] Fly Me to the Moon CD is out of print. This Sylvester McCoy and India Fisher live audience audio comedy has never been available for sale in digital format. I thought it would be around forever!

I bet that Nick is thinking "finally, no need to have sales just to try and shift this". Based on that comment, I'm guessing I've missed nothing by passing on that title.

I suspect more than a few of it's sales when it went to £2 were people sitting with £48 or £49 in their basket and needing to hit £50 to get the discount I want to say it's not that bad...though it really isn't great. It's not Treason Show bad though!

Tempted to send an email to Vortex asking if it will be reprinted. I think a deluxe vinyl edition is almost a certainty at this stage

That was one release that never even tempted me - even at a measly £2.

Can anyone speak to why Fly Me To The Moon is so bad?

Can anyone speak to why Fly Me To The Moon is so bad? Well comedy is subjective so I can't speak for others, but I found Fly Me to the Moon unfunny and cringeworthy... the audience laughter is kind of off-putting too, especially after a line that I didn't think was actually funny. My sensitive ears were also not ready for the 7th Doctor and Charley Pollard speaking Carry-On style double entendres either!

Can anyone speak to why Fly Me To The Moon is so bad? I found it to be satisfactory 6/10 entertainment. The main performances of India Fisher, Mark Brailsford and Sylvester McCoy (the counsellor) were very good. Fly Me to the Moon probably is the prime candidate for having the most profanity, British slang and sexualization for a Big Finish production. I think it's where I first came across the word "slapper".

Hi all A long time ago, BF released the Phantom Of The Opera score as two music downloads. Not the play itself, which is still available, but the isolated music. I was wondering if anyone had a copy of these downloads and might be able to please message me? I tried to purchase a copy from Big Finish a few years back and had quite a bit of email correspondence with the late, great Paul Spragg, who said the scores had been lost when the site shift happened, amongst other odds and ends like podcasts. I suspect the only copies around now are in the hands of people who purchased quickly off the mark. If you can help me, I would be incredibly grateful to hear from you. I actually had bought these and when the site moved they went missing, Paul Spragg was his always helpful best but even he couldn't get them back for me. I may have them on a very old laptop but I'm not promising anything. I'll have a look in my storage area for it. Sadly no sign of them. At least not yet. I was starting to doubt myself so I went through my orders, and sure enough the record of the purchase was imported but the files themselves weren't.

I'm dreading the day when Main Range 51-100 start going OOP lol Well, I'm okay (and that's all that matters really) - hoping to get the last ones I need from that bunch (89-100) if/when they next go on sale.

[2002] 2000 AD: Judge Dredd: I Love Judge Dredd (8) CD is no longer for sale on the Big Finish website.
All of the Big Finish original 2000 AD series 1-18 CDs are now out of print. Only 9 of those stories are obtainable via download purchase.

[2011] New Worlds #1: Wildthyme on Top book is once again available for sale from BigFinish.com.
This anthology hardback hasn't been available since selling out (for £2) from the first The Worlds of Big Finish sale in May 2015. Big Finish must have uncovered some hidden stock of it.

I was surprised when I spotted it (and have now ordered it for £2 from the halloween book sale) I guess it shows that you can't keep Iris down ...though a very large number of bottles of gin have tried
