Did he voice them on the TV show? According to the latest podcast he did not. Did they say who did voice the Silence?

The Silence appear to have two phases to their history. In Day of the Moon they are Earth bound as they need to use humanity to build them a spaceship, but it is clear that someone starts to interfere with them as after centuries of them exploiting humanity towards building an Apollo rocket, they suddenly have child mel and an incomplete attempt at a TARDIS. Later on when we see them they are very clearly part of the church of the silent, but I think this story is positioned as being more about the ones surviving the slaughter of Silents on the Earth in the sixties. If these ones have been left behind by the church then it'll be more of a terrorist type situation potentially. I always assumed those two episodes were given to us out of order (for the Silents anyway). The events on Trenzalore led to the Silents experimenting with time travel in a proto-TARDIS, in order to travel back into Earth's past and capture River Song at a time in her life when she was vulnerable. So the slaughter of the Silents comes at the end of the story arc from the point of view of the Silents.

wasn't he the actor inside the costume as well? That's a rarity for Who.

Indeed she does:
TASHA: Why did you ever come to Trenzalore? DOCTOR: Well, I did come to Trenzalore, and nothing can change that now. Didn't stop you trying though, did it? TASHA: Not me. The Kovarian Chapter broke away. They travelled back along your timeline and tried to prevent you ever reaching Trenzalore.

Useful, though as I say I'm curious about who did it on TV. No-one seems to know! If there's any definitive answer anywhere I'd be interested to see it.

Incidentally none of the Actors databases I've tried have a voice credit listed for the Silence on TV anywhere
