I'm not up to date yet with the Gallifrey series but was wondering in what order i should listen to Intervention Earth & Enemy Lines when i get to them? Do i go in release order or do i listen to Enemy lines first as it features Rommana II not Trey? Go with release order, absolutely. It's hard to explain why without spoiling anything, but that's definitely the way to go.

Still making my way through series 4 so a long way off yet

I think I share the general consensus of opinion on this one.Way above average(top notch)!!But I cannot pretend I completely understood everything.Must give it another listen and while I am at it,check my timeline! Is that a grey shadowy figure I see in the corner? Maybe its just a trick of the light.

Besides being a brilliant bargain for the price, this ended up another great installment in the Gallifrey series. I think has added value if one wasn't paying perfect attention, since it's easily worth a second listen to try to take in more of the intricacies. I think the political and personal machinations are harder for me to grasp than the convoluted timelines and alternate realities, lol. I think I'm just as impressed with the authorship overall as with the fine performances here.
Really can't find any complaints although I'm personally biased toward preference of David Darlington's sound work on Gallifrey, and it seemed as if things might have been slowing down in the middle of the set (possibly in part simply because of the particular way music was used there), but after listening further it seemed to all make for a fitting calm before the storm. Time and money very well spent!

Wait, a K9 movie? I have been away too long, can somebody tell me about this? I wonder if somehow down the line Intervention Earth could still happen or is that definitively out of this timeline now? Does the time changes effect Leela's CC narrative? I loved the story to bits, but the continuity nut in me has to figure these things out! And now I'm not sure which order to listen now. Intervention Earth at the end of before Enemy Lines? I'm thinking IE before EL.

*closing my eyes in this thread to avoid spoilers* I'm dying to listen to this. But I'm not caught up on Series 5, 6, and 7 yet. Can I skip over, or should I take the plunge and just get the previous three right now? Tag me if you respond, so I can skip over the spoiler posts.

Wait, a K9 movie? I have been away too long, can somebody tell me about this? Yeah, Bob Baker is making a movie where a CGI K9 fights Omega.

Which makes me wonder if it might have something to do with neither K9 nor Omega being used in new releases.

I've only heard Intervention Earth in the Gallifrey series and I am understanding most of what is going on. Halfway through and I am loving it. Although I do think I should have relistened to Intervention Earth since I don't remember much about it.

Well there was a LOT I didn't understand but what I did I loved. There were so many great character moments in this especially between Romana & Leela who also had the most interesting relationship in the story. Though the moments between Ace & Narvin also made me smile.
Also it's kind of lovely to have so many strong & intelligent female characters in one story. Romana I think especially got to shine here & I think she showed a certain depth and complexity that isn't always apparent in her recent 4th Doctor stories, at least for me.
I also really like the 30 min episode format and there was some great music. I don't always listen to the music suite but I will definitely be listening to this one.
I eagerly look forward to the next Gallifrey installment.

This was the best Gallifrey since Series 4. I liked this much more than I thought I would, even though there were some things that I didn't quite understand as well. One of then being Brax. I've heard all of the Gallifreys, but only some of the Benny stories. I know that Brax has changed, but I'm not sure how or what it means. It was mentioned in the last Benny set that I heard but that it didn't bother me. But here, I think it makes a difference in understanding the end. Is it possible to explain, or is it just too complicated?

In the least spoiler way...imagine time as a tree you can prune.
Lop off one branch and the life force travels to another branch

Which makes me wonder if it might have something to do with neither K9 nor Omega being used in new releases. I really thought we were going to get Omega several years back in the TV series. I guess it was series 6 with Amy being pregnant, right? There were Omega signs everywhere as I recall.

I did listen to part of Intervention Earth that was given out as a free preview when it first came out, and the story sounded pretty intriguing.

People kept saying that, but I never saw any signs of Omega. If you look at some screen grabs of the infirmary they hold Amy in there are Omega signs present and I think there are also Omega signs on the uniforms of the soldiers. Combine that with a child of the TARDIS and I certainly bought to the possibility of a return of Omega as a possible thing.
