Holograms of John Dorney as he takes you on a tour of his outstanding brilliantly written audio dramas. Basically John gets Doctor Who & there's not a story he's written that i haven't enjoyed. I can't wait to hear this & The Two Masters.

I would thoroughly recommend skipping the threads til you've heard them then! There are lots of possible spoilers.

I liked this story, but I wish the Doctor had won. I have to agree with Romana's assessment-it is just annoying that Drax can break every law of time, and still outwit the Doctor and get away with it. It was hilarious that pretty much the entire supporting cast was Drax though.

Hmmmm maybe your right it does sound like a The Sun page 1 byline, so how about Project: Dorneyspace or Dorneyday? Let's just go with Dorneyrocks. There's an amusement park not far from me called Dorney Park. I can go with that. (Credit goes to my son, Evan.) Ha Ha I know that park

It was hilarious that pretty much the entire supporting cast was Drax though. That's my biggest gripe with this story. I know that the Master and the Monk aren't afraid to abuse the laws of time, but at least they have ego and good intentions (as in the material the road to hell is made of) behind their actions. Drax is deliberately making a mockery of the laws of time with the motivation of carrying out cons! This time I'm with Romana, she's got a point with her annoyance with the Doctor and I'd want to kill Drax as well after this romp. At least Iris Wildthyme has the excuse of being bonkers, and her version of The Five Doctors is an amusing anecdote rather than a fully fledged adventure. The Doctor also has no agency during this story. Everything he does was planned by Drax. How can the Doctor be so flippant about it?

Because he got to play with an old school chum. Time Lords are odd, the Doctor is odder.

I think you may have missed the boat sometime ago with regards to asking how the S17 Doctor can be so flippant.

By the end, well, it was one of those situations where you've just got to laugh at how comprehensively you've been trounced.

I will admit it was nice to see different incarnations of the same Time Lord not come to blows, considering how the first half of a multi-Doctor story usually goes.

Not to mention this month's other story with a Time Lord meeting himself. The Master was always his own worst enemy, The Two Masters merely externalised it.
