What do we want to see from the DC Cinematic Universe?

Well, well, well. Deborah Snyder - Zack's wife and co-producer - has said that Justice League will be a standalone film and was never intended to be a 2-parter. This despite the fact that WB announced "Justice League Part 2" nearly two years ago. Looks like Snyder won't be around these films much longer...

He shouldn't even be directing the first Justice League after the awful Batman Vs Superman, fire him & his ego & let Justin Lin take up the helm. And get rid of Jesse Eisenberg while there at it & replace him with Brian Cranston as the real Lex Luthor not this whiney imbecile version Jesse played in BvS.

WBs execs also need to seek therapy to break them of this delusion that the DCCU needs to be "dark and gritty" like the Nolan Bat-films... this is a superhero film, not Mad Max.... Hell, BvS should be shown at film school as a lesson on "How to completely destroy the feel of a genre film. (Well, that and every Mike Bay film...)
The delicious irony is that they are near-constantly raising the bar on comic TV shows (Arrow's missteps aside).
The other irony is that traditionally DC has always treated heroes far better in the comic media than Marvel ever does. What I mean is the public loves their heroes in the comics, while Marvel's public usually wants to string them up... But in the Cinematic universes it's generally reversed.

Apart from what we already know is coming, I'd like to see the Green Lantern corps (preferably not related to the already existing GL film), the Martian Manhunter, and the Legion of Superheroes to get their own movies. Also, I would also obviously like Superman to return, but I think we all know that that's going to happen anyway. I want Brainiac to show up, because he is my favorite Superman villain who hasn't appeared yet. I want Affleck's Batman to eventually get a standalone film, I want to see him go against Leto's Joker and Harley Quinn, I want Lex to get out of jail and get up to more mischief, and I want a really good Darkseid.
