It is very annoying though that Big Finish can't make legit digital versions.
Hey author, mind if we sell digital copies of X. Great, thanks. Then stick an intern in front of a scanner with a printed volume. A few hours later, done. Don't fuss about with ocr or anything like that. Just use the pdf, maybe add on the edition info. Down the road worry about making it look pretty.

There's a copy of A Life Of Surprises for sale on eBay just now. It's only just over £2300, including postage from Australia.
If we all chipped a tenner in...

Speaking of the out of print books, in the latest Vortex my question about them is answered. Work is ongoing to get them out as digital products, though it doesn't seem as though physical reprints are in the works. As for new books, Nick said there are no plans as sales were not strong enough to justify continuing them. So for this of us completionists - we'll either have to settle for digital versions of the ones we are missing, or take out a second mortgage. I just got the Vortex in which your question appeared, came with my latest CD order. Here's hoping we'll at least get a digital version of the out-of-print books. I would love that.

The Math is very simple here.
Currently no one makes any money.
Get the act together and for very little effort, everyone makes some money.
It's astonishing that this is still out there.

A mate of mine had to have a clear-out and just turned up a spare copy of The Dead Men Diaries and of each of Benny novels 1 to 5. Are these still all out of print? Has he got himself a little goldmine here?

Tell him to stick on E-Bay and see what happens.

(you could have meant the Virgin published Benny NA's, but if we are talking solely about the BF published books)
Yes its worth him doing

Holy cannoli! I just found a copy of The Squire's Crystal for 30 bucks! I grabbed it! Just shows it pays to keep checking. The Glass Prison, on the other hand, is selling for prices ranging from $2,000 to $10,000. Do people really pay those prices?

Has he got himself a little goldmine here? The Doomsday Manuscript and Gods of the Underworld are not out of print. The prices for used copies of the Dead Men Diaries are still reasonably priced. (I saw one offered for as little as £0.48 on Amazon - you'd pay more for shipping then for the book!) The Squire's Crystal is a little more price-y. The price I got it for was the lowest I've ever seen, in months of checking since it went out of print. The Infernal Nexus, lowest prices are in the same ballpark as The Squire's Crystal. The Glass Prison, prices are ridiculous, as noted above. I'm assuming those are the books you mean when you say "The Dead Men Diaries" and the next 5. I haven't made an exhaustive search for the prices of the rest of the books, since I managed to buy them before they went out of print. (Well, one I got just when it went out of print, before the price shot up. I ordered it from the Big Finish site right before they had a big Benny sale, I forget how long ago that was, but right after I ordered it, they had the sale and people were talking about it and I realized I wasn't going to get it from BF cause it had gone out of print, so I quickly picked up a slightly used copy in excellent condition.)

Are all these books the BF books? The books mentioned in my post are all Big Finish Benny books. But it's not "most of them", not sure what Mark meant by that. There's quite a few more put out by Big Finish. A few of those not mentioned above are out of print, but most can be found for reasonable prices from third party sellers. The exception is Genius Loci, which, IIRC, is listed at prices starting at around $200.

I'm just missing one of the Benny anthology books, A Life of Surprises.
The copy on eBay just now is just a smidge outside my price range at £2360.45.
