Right. The preview copy hit last week. They say. Don't post before its released or the 29th. Does that help? Usually we get them a week before. But that's still fine. Ok?
I suppose? Can you please not be so rude about it? I'm just a worried fan expressing his concern.
Michael, he was only trying to help and calm things down. There's nothing rude going on there.

I really hope we don't get the Abzorbaloff. Can't we just forget it's even a part of Doctor Who's mythology? Sorry, but Love & Monsters is one of the best single episodes of Doctor Who, ever. I neither love nor hate it, the concept is quite interesting and something of a love letter to Who fans, but the Abzorbaloff and that paving slab joke kinda ruin the episode for me, it looked cheap...

I just want to forget the Abzorbaloff and Slithveen ever existed in Doctor Who there episodes made the series silly & farcical.
I like my Who like my women, moody, scary unpredictable & terrifying.

Talk about tastes varying. Might just be my least favorite episode ever. Caveat: I don't recall "The Space Pirates" and haven't gotten to it yet on my Classic rewatch.

The space pirates is mostly missing.
And seen by many as... not great.
The model work film segments did survive and look as good as anything else out there.

A question for anyone who might know: do we know what format these stories have? Single hour-long stories? 2x25 mins? 2x45 mins? 4x25 mins?
I haven't seen this info anywhere, and i was curious.

Cheers. I thought they probably would be. I was hopeful (or over-optimistic) for four parters, though. The wish is the father of the thought and that.

Each disc is one story.
More modern format One story... no need for forced classic formatting

Seriously pre order it before the price goes up. Arm twisted. Pre-ordered. Davison, Michelangelo, Weeping Angels and Diane Morgan? That's worth 20 smackers right there. I'm sure that the three 'bonus stories' will be pretty good as well.

Some final pre-release thoughts... I am not particularly excited for the 5th Doctor story. Not because I can't really see how they'll do the weeping angels on audio (which I don't, but I have enough faith in Big Finish to do it well) but because they're just not a compelling villain to me. They were really good in Blink and, to an extent, in the Series 5 two-parter but since then each of their appearances have just ruined Blink for me - I feel like they were a compelling one-off villain and should never have been anything more than that. I would love to be proved wrong though and will listen with an open mind.

I am excited for the Weeping Angels story but it's not the story I'm most excited for. It's probably tied for second with the Sontaran Ordeal. I'll be listening to Judoon in Chains first because I really want to hear the dialogue between the Sixth Doctor and the Judoon.
The least exciting one to me is the Seventh Doctor story, but that's nothing against the Sycorax. They seemed like a cool monster in the Christmas Invasion but they're not really as well established as the others because their only episode was more about introducing a new Doctor than it was about them. Hopefully, their story here will be good enough that I'll be asking for Big Finish to use them again.
The Sontarans don't have the same novelty as the rest because Big Finish has been using them for years, but it's an Eighth Doctor Time War story, which is something I've wanted for a long time. That alone makes it exciting.

It's one of the best things Titan comics have done.
