i finished graphic audio black panther who is the black panther? this is an adaption of reg hudlin and john romita jr run. i say this because i dropped their run when
it came out because i really disliked it. i hated JRjr's art and the changes hudlin made to black panther's mytho. but i ended up liking this quite a bit.

Finished the Tertiary, Quandary, and Quintessential Phases of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. And now I’m off to listen to the whole series all over again.

The Midwich Cuckoos; a 2003 adaptation starring Bill Nighy and Sarah Parish from the John Wyndham collection. Really enjoyed it. Sad ending.

It's taken a bite out of the last three days, but finally finished the last season of "The Bright Sessions" plus the additional nine episodes of "The Bright Sides".
Which leaves two seasons of "Ars Paradoxica", half a dozen episodes of "Drunk Women Solving Crime" and an awful lot of "My Dad Wrote A Porno" until I can finally..FINALLY.. be up to date with my podcast listening.

I'm listening to Audible's Sherlock Holmes release as read by the wonderful Stephen Fry who's voice is just perfect. I finished A Study in Scarlet a few days ago and am now like two chapters into The Sign of the Four.

The Scaryfiers: 'Cold Call' again last night. This excellent free gift audio meant there was one good thing about the lockdown at least! (If you hadn't guessed, I love 'The Scaryfiers'! )

The Lodger (Marie Belloc Lowndes)
A 2003 adaptation of the short story of the same name. A really interesting and suspenseful piece which focuses on a series of Jack the Ripper esque murders.
Hancock’s Half Hour ‘The Marrow Contest’
Sheer genius. The writings of Galton and Simpson with the comedic masters that were Hancock and Co can never be beaten. Despite what a recent comedic poll might have said, I still think the character of Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock is one of our greatest comedic creations.
Rather found myself enjoying listening to these old BBC Radio productions.

Thinking of giving my copy of Fly Me to the Moon that I found in a charity shop a while back a listen.
Would anyone recommend it or know if it’s any good at all?

Bioshock: Twelve Days to Midnight
An interesting fan made prequel to Bioshock which expands on certain plot elements.
Always felt like the world of Rapture would suit the audio format.

Red Moon (All Wireless Theatre Company) Attempting to push through tonight with a first run through all six episodes. Curious to know what you think. I've been listening their production of Omega and have been enjoying it. With no Shakespeare in the Park for New Yorkers this summer, The Public Theater collaborated with radio station WNYC to produce an audio version of Richard II. This is exciting and I hope they do more even when the pandemic finally subsides (although who knows, the way things are going for us here in the USA).
Link here:
Incredible review and write-up here (listed as a New York Times Critic's Pick):

Much as I enjoyed it (Alternate reality Cold War thriller with a dash of Sci Fi thrown in) I do have one grumble about Red Moon (and by extension the Springheel'd Jack saga)...neither (in my opinion) were long enough! I appreciate people want things in bite sized chunks and six half hour episodes certainly tells a really good story, but a really great story could have easily been told over six hour episodes. Will certainly take a look at Omega and the link in your post.

'The Scarifyers' The Secret Weapon of Doom (again )
Loved it as I always do this range, and how did I previously miss the {Spoiler} Rourke's Drift movie references near the end? Probably enjoying the rest of it so much - there's a lot going on at the finale and the lovely parody of {Spoiler} 'The Five Doctors' will take any Who fan's attention. Not to mention 'Mrs. Manningtree'
More please. Soon please!
