Enjoyed the first episode. Here's episode 4 in the Who template Took me about three hours total so if there's improvements only suggest minor ones because I'm not going to work more on this.

I wonder if the CD version of "The Rulers of the Universe" actually has a reversible DW cover?

Just finished this. The first 2 parts I just couldn't get into. I was tired and just finished work at the time and I was kind of nodding off which probably why. 3 and 4 was bloody excellent though.its making me look forward to doom coalition 2 even more. I honestly wouldn't say no to some Other productions with Paul Alex and Alexander and it doesn't need to be dr who.

While I liked the first 2 chapters, I also thought the last 2 were on a whole other level. Really terrific. And it was great to have Alexander Vlahos in the Who Universe. Some really great actors/voices in this one.

What a box set! A look at the 'damage' underneath the facade and what damage it is, particularly when that angry hurt child comes out to play ("I gave them a chance.") Setting the series after The Angel Takes Manhatten nicely counters Matt Smith's unavaliability with River trying to find her way through the universe post-Amy and Rory and having to distance herself from her husband. River needs her own days.

It was OK.
The interaction between the principals was very good. It raised its game when 8 turned up.
I kind of hoping BF do a Moffatt on Moffatt and have past Doctors find out about Amy, and that's why 11 sticks around with her so long.

Episodes 2 and 4 were my favorites, but they were all good. Its always great to hear River back, and this Christmas we got to see her interact with two new Doctors.
If I remember correctly, she had a sonic screwdriver in episode 2. That suggests that this takes place post-Husbands, and she just still uses the trowel for archeology.

I'd point you in the direction of Doom Coalition 2... Okay, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to wait three months though. Although it is coming out on my birth-month, so I guess it will be a nice birthday present to myself.

Things I am doing instead of listening to this
* Searching for reviews & opinions on Twitter/Tumblr * Randomly playing a track for a few seconds then stopping it for fear of spoilers.
Yeah my plan to save this till after the New Year probably isn't going to work out.

Enjoyed it, felt it some resonance with Husbands, liked how the handled the overlap with McGann's Doctor

It was alright. Not great or anything. Liked episode 1. 2 was a little hard to follow; too many of the voices sounded similar. 3 I liked quite a bit; had a more intimate tone and similar feel to Heaven Sent.
4 was the best. Actually quite engaging conclusion to the arcing plot, and both River's and the Doctor's plots had quite conceptually inventive progressions. And what little interaction we got was great.
Part of me just wants something like the "retcon" drug, or amnesia lipstick, or a holographically projected disguise/alias to allow for a more hands-on team-up, but proving its handled with inventiveness, this whole "arms length" rule she has with the past Doctors could be an interesting story limitation for the writers.
That said, this might be my only dip into the range (providing they don't keep dropping McGann in there the crafty mothers...)

I think River's apperance in Doom Coliation will probably be more hands on - they can't play the same gimmick twice, after all.
