This thread now seems to be redundant with a thread newly created in recognition of BF changing the selection from "The Listeners" selection to "The Big Finish Book Club". Should we combine the threads, and rename the new thread "Big Finish Bookclub (The Listeners) Predictions"? Or something like that?

I was right about a link up, just completely wrong about which release it was linking to. On the plus side (for me) March's bookclub release appears to be next on my list in the range concerned. Guess I'm going download from here on in! 😁
Oh, and definitely agree with Ela's comment about merging this thread and the one I started. Big Finish Bookclub Predictions sounds good..

I just came here to do exactly that.

Since it is the big anniversary month I am guessing something Doctor Who related.
I would go with Zagreus, but that has some mixed reviews (although I liked it!), so maybe the Light at the End?

I bloomin' love Zagreus. My favourite anniversary story. However I imagine it will be LATE. If it wasn't dirt cheap anyway I would have said Sirens.

I don't love it but I do appreciate it doing something completely off the wall. Something we don't see as much these days where big event releases to tend to be more linear and straight ahead narratives. So much of the Russell era wouldn't be made now, I think.

Yeah, I agree that I do miss these completely weird and wonderful stories. The Doctor being possessed by a demon for 3 hours, chasing his companion, who has to face several confusing psychic manifestations?
And also something like Scherzo? Or even a musical like The Pirates? I do not think they would even think of making something like that these days.
Maybe it is because that would be taking too much of a risk? I am however always up for the absurd. Just love it.
