I can't say it's my favorite (with so many great stories they can't all be) but I do think it's a very worthwhile listen, and doubly so at the Bookclub price.

Any guesses for December? I predict either Sympathy for the Devil or Robophobia, due to the upcoming appearance of the Unbound Master with Derek Jacobi and the first volume of The Robots

This appears to be quite good. I am getting this, even if I know next to nothing about the story.

Highly, highly recommended. Outstanding adaptation of Wells' 'unadaptable' "novel" by Guy Adams, one of his very best pieces of writing for BF imo (and that's out of so many great stories including his three excellent 3DAs.)
I don't agree at all with Wells' very far-left views he advocated in his 'textbook from the future' - but in this instance I don't care , this is great drama (and BF have toned Wells down considerably anyway.) Comrades, it's worth a month's turnip ration to hear this! Sell your treasured copy of 'Soviet Tractor Production Statistics 1964-1969' on the black market if you have to and let global capitalism "exploit" you to the tune of £2.99, just this once.
It's gripping science-fiction, brilliantly written, performed and produced and not to be missed.
