I don't know much. I used to read Excalibur way back when, but most of that group wasn't really British.

I'm not into comic book stuff, but I thought I at least knew of the major lead characters, I am surprised to hear of British Marvel characters as I had not ever heard of them before.

Blade is actually British. He was born in London and grew up there. He's not portrayed that way in the films or TV series, and I've not seen it referenced too much in modern comics, though he was part of MI-13, a British superhero agency.

I don't know much. I used to read Excalibur way back when, but most of that group wasn't really British. In fact only Brian Braddock would call himself British, Kurt was German and then American, Kitty and Rachel American and Meggan was an Irish Traveller!

Then the American comics market collapsed. All that's really left of Marvel UK is now owned by Panini; it was Marvel UK, and still is Panini, who publish DWM. Death's Head, of course, has met the Doctor on three occasions. Hoping he'll make a comeback, yes?

Of course the best British heroes are probably V, Zenith and Johnny Alpha. The last of which has featured in BF output thrice, voiced by Simon Pegg.
