Hey eighties kids,
I've never seen the original Voltron, but I very much enjoyed the first season of Legendary Defender. What do long-term fans think of the recent remake? |

I don't know if you'd call me a "fan" of the original Voltron. I watched it, but I was a kid in the 80s, and I'd watch whatever you put in front of me.
That said, the rebooted series is a million times better than the original. I know it has a lot of people from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and it shows. I love that good natured good humor that comes with that pedigree. Also, they call the pilots the "paladins" of Voltron. I kind of love that, because it hints at an ancient and lost legacy.
