Knew they'd definitely end up doing Porridge. Maybe get Dave to do Goodnight Sweetheart as another original series like they took on Red Dwarf

The BBC are doing "Motherland" and "Porridge" as series; Marks & Gran have hinted at taking "Goodnight Sweetheart" to a different channel. Porridge is great news but BBC have made a massive mistake with deciding against another series of Goodnight Sweetheart. It was the most popular sitcom revival of the season, with loads of people demanding more after it aired. It got great viewing figures so there is clearly an audience there. The BBC need to stop making stupid mistakes like spending so much money on Top Gear without Clarkson, Hammond and May and delaying Series 10 of Doctor Who until next year because of the Olympics.
