We wouldn't create a sub board for one release. We only create them when there is a lot of activity for a range.

Listened to the trailer and then immediately preordered. Sounds incredibly fun and something right at home at BF even if it's not a BF production.

When this project was first announced I suspected BF would have some level of involvement.

Given this was only just announced it is far too premature to create a sub-board. If in the future there is enough interest and activity we will create a board for it.

I always like Dare comics - a staple of any good jumble sale and second hand shop - and look forward to these. We knew they were coming a while back though, didn't we? I feel like a few of us had a chat about them when B7 announced they were making them but before any BF distrubtion deal became clear.

As an international fan who isn't farmaliar with the source material, I'm a bit worried this might be overlooked in December - there is a lot of Doctor Who (including a multi-Doctor story) coming out in December.

I am honestly a little hesitant after the Martian Chronicles Understandably. Looks like they're going for the original Eagle Dan Dare, the rough-and-tumble 50s pulp science adventure stories rather than the 2000 AD version that popped up later.

This sounds like a good fun romp and has a stellar cast so I've taken the plunge and pre-ordered. I just wish they hadn't announced it the same weekend as Captain Jack - Big Finish certainly has a way of emptying your pockets...

This sounds like fun. Couldn't afford both yet but I thought the first volume would probably make a fine addition to the great line-up of December releases for holiday listening, so I went ahead and pre-ordered it.

It was really condensed and rushed and felt flat to me. Too be fair I am not sure Dan-Dare is my type of things anyways.

I think it's just a distribution deal, using BF's logistics as they've done before with stuff. I don't think anyone who buys all the BF releases for "the collection" should feel compelled to buy this, Martian Chronicles or Rebellion Reborn since they're outside projects just using BF as a network.

They are in the same area, if not quite the same league more radio 4 than BF if you can afford to lose a tenner maybe you should wait & see what others think, for me though it will be nice to have a lighter take on sci fi for a change. I ordered at about 1am! Also so I do like to support new ranges & take the risk....8/10 times I am not dissapointed for me it can't be any worse than bafflegabs bakers end, that just left me cold and thinking WTF.
