Given we have such a mix of people on these forums, why tell us about some of your own creatives endeavours? If it´s been performed, is there a video where we can watch it? If it's published, is there a place we can pick it up?
Sound off below.

After creating a few short cartoons, I fancied trying something a bit more ambitious. I've written (most of) a three-part animation about a group of adventurers trying to get into the Questing biz. So far I've only made part 1 (which I'm quite pleased with), and I'm about half way through part 2. I have plans for more, but I'll see how I feel after the first trilogy is done.

Maybe you mean that LEGO video I did. I do have that all planned out (all of the audio for episode 2 is finished), but because it was a little cosmetically similar to stuff in Trejz part 3, I'm just sitting on that for a while.

Yes thats right, it was the Lego video lol. Thats fair enough, means you can get other stuff sorted and see where it can go and such

I have a lot of half-started or half-finished original books floating around, quite a number of synopses and what could basically be called rewritten series bibles ranging from shows that either didn't get off the ground like Crusade to ones I think deserved a better inning than they got like Star Trek: Voyager. I tend to write them as a means of keeping my brain trained so I can just pull an idea out of a hat whenever there's a need, although I don't think there's anything there worthy/capable of being professionally published. At the moment, I've been trying to wrap my head around a sequel series to the original Thunderbirds if it were written in the 1980s dubbed Thunderbirds Return using the bare bones of the 2086 series. I tend to be in the long haul -- the Voyager bible is something like eighty pages in length at 10pt -- before I either finish or hit a roadblock and get distracted by something else. There's also a hypothetical James Bond film starring Henry Cavill and Leonardo diCaprio called Bravura which I've been meaning to actually write as a screenplay lurking around somewhere. Digging back a little, I also had plans for writing pseudo Target novelisations for a bunch of Six/Peri/Frobisher adventures which I completely forgot about, one of which was based around a throwaway line about Daleks on Mandusus from Emperor of the Daleks. There is a lot of fanfiction on my hard drive at the moment, original projects seem to be on the backburner for now. After creating a few short cartoons, I fancied trying something a bit more ambitious. I've written (most of) a three-part animation about a group of adventurers trying to get into the Questing biz. I still firmly believe that "I AM MORE HAT THAN DALEK!" should be on a t-shirt. Terrific stuff, you've got a great sense of comic timing.

I would, but I literally have no idea where they could be at the moment. I think they're backed up on a disc somewhere, it's been years since I touched them. Yep, sure. Is there anything specific you had in mind? I have an unfinished synopsis of the Eighth Doctor in 1997 Tokyo if you're interested?

Years ago I wrote a fair bit about how Canadian security and defence policy can't help but be tied to the country's economic policies. Some of that stuff may be floating around still. I also did a lot of writing about Canadian electoral politics and how changes to electoral advertising could impact the way we vote in the future - that was my thesis work when I went back to university and was some of the most enjoyable writing I've ever done. On the topic of voting, I also did a reasonable amount of writing on electoral reform at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal level in Canada. Now that you've all had a good nap. These days the most creative I get is writing the occasional legislative speech at work. Unless sarcastic tweets count.

I have about 50 (paid) non-fiction articles in magazines, in books, & on the Internet, most having to do with Catholicism's intersection with bioethics, politics, & culture. I also have a longish comics history article (available for purchase on Amazon.com), a five-page comic book story, a few contributions within a pulp RPG, and a humor article in a Baltimore newspaper.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Hi all I've just started a new venture on a brand spanking new website. It's only been live for a couple of weeks but I think it already has a lot to offer people. It's run by fans of pulp adventures but they cover a huge range of books and I think there's a fair amount of overlap of things enjoyed by people here. My column is called "Banks On Books," if you're interested. www.bibliorati.com/Cheers Ian

I didn't notice this thread earlier, and I don't post tons here, but the link in my signature line will take you to the Excelsior site, a free-to-download (Star Trek spinoff) audio drama series where I'm one of the sound designers.

Aside from writing a couple of scripts (in varying degrees of completion), I've worked on a web-series that's won a couple of awards, a couple of book trailers & a short film of my own called 'Kala' (there are some 'issues' with the sound due to wind-disturbance but, despite the fact that I probably should have hired someone to edit it for me instead of doing it myself, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, even fourteen-odd months on).
No prizes as to who Lucie's named after...
I was hoping to make another short with a friend of mine from work but that, sadly, never happened in the end. Over the past few months I've been working on a feature-script I started writing last year and now, with a little bit more editing (& probably some financial backing), it's probably in a position to be shot (although I'd need to change one of the locations, as the house that my mother & aunt rent out is going to be "on the market" again sooner than I hoped...).
