Hearts Still Beating (S07E08) - Some of the plot elements going into this 90 minute midseason finale episode: - What ploy will Spencer use to betray Rick? And, will Spencer die trying?
- Rick and Aaron perilously attempting to find supplies on the boathouse. And, how will Rick react to seeing Negan with Judith?
- Will Daryl succeed in escaping the Sanctuary?
- Some happenings occurring within the Kingdom?
- With Michonne being on route to the Sanctuary to confront Negan. Will her primary target even be there to receive her?
- Will Carl be punished for recently killing 2 of Negan's men?
- The Jesus factor? Will Michonne meet up with him? Or, perhaps Daryl while fleeing?
- Will Rosita (with her 1 bullet) shoot Negan?

· I think Karl & Judith will get killed, i think Rick could only take down Negan if he had nothing to lose & losing is children would be his breaking point he's got nothing left to lose although this would be a very dark narrative.
· Rosita become annoying if she kills anyone of Negans team they'll punish Alexandria.
· Michonne will become another of Negans wives plotting to kill him by getting close to him.
· Is Darryl is sending coded messages to Alexandria somehow.
· Just a few of my theories I'm probably way off the mark.

I definitely can't see Michonne becoming one of Negan's wives... ever! She'd chop his dick off with her Katana long before that could happen.
Spencer has to die though... and Carl needs to cut his hair!
It's the mid-season finale next week, so I am expecting something unexpected for the cliff-hanger.

Spencer has to die though... The 2 most exciting plot threads for me going into this midseason finale involve Spencer and Rosita. What trick does Spencer think that he has up his sleeve? Could Negan be the surprise candidate to kill Spencer for being a weasel? Where will Rosita's 1 bullet land? If Rosita hits her mark, it certainly won't kill Negan. LOL - If Rosita shoots Spencer dead!

Especially as Karls hair is in the same style of my nieces hippy boyfriend, i just want to take the clippers & shave it all off grade one.

What a fantastic mid season finale, Jeffery Dean Morgan once again steals the show as Negan.

Yeah, Negan at his OTT best, plus the gang are back together... a lovely episode. (I'm glad that we got to see that Spencer did have some guts after all as well... )

When Negan told Rick he fed Karl spaghetti i literally cracked up.

Well, what did we make of this now that the show is back on the TV and the gang are back together and preparing for war? For me, the highlight of this week's episode was Rick grining at the sight of cannon-fodder!

Rick seems pleased when being surrounded by unidentified hostiles in the cliffhanger of the Season 7B opener.

S07E10: New Best Friends:Jadis (another Brit playing an American) is introduced as the "Scavenger" leader. She's tall, assertive and quite possibly sexy... Easter Egg - A replica truck trailer depiction for the Smokey and the Bandit (1977) film is seen in this episode.

S07E13: Bury Me Here- Bloodshed over a cantaloupe (2 deaths).
- Morgan sharpens his staff into a spear and has apparently returned to his previous CLEAR mode way of seeing things.
- Carol and Ezekiel decide to prepare to fight the Saviors.
In the next impending episode Abraham's Bobbsey twins (Sasha and Rosita) go on the hunt to kill Negan. Somewhere down the line it isn't going to end well for one or both of those girls. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) has been cast in the lead role for the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery and actress Christian Serratos (Rosita) has recently announced that she's expecting her first child. Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) has been confirmed for Season 8...so he won't be dying soon.

That was a poor season of The Walking Dead. It was so dragged out Season 7 only came to life for the mid-season and season finales. Apart from that, very little happened. It's badly paced and the characters are all over the place. The Walking Dead has gone boring, I'm not sure if I'll be back in October for Season 8.

I agree, i thought the season finale was possibly the weakest finale to date, badly edited battle & as you say pacing all over the place, I'll stick with it as I'm confident the show can return to form it just needs i think get rid of the dead wood characters & have a more screen time for the main cast.

I was a little bit more entertained than you were with some of the side adventures that Season 7 offered with some of its less focused on characters. However, what I don't like about the Negan arc is that this show seems to be more than ever on a telegraphed pathway of events now devoid of any meaningful surprises. By the time we got to the last 3 episodes, we knew A to B how it would play out - YES IT WAS BORING! Is the (1 writer / 166 issues) TWD comic book still fresh and exciting?
