Any other fans on here?
It's one of my favorites. Started listening because of Benedict Cumberbatch but became a fan of all the characters in the end. It's very hard to pick a favorite. Definitely one of the funniest things I ever listened to.

I adored it for the first few series. It - as happens with most sitcoms - became a bit sappy latr on. Very soapy with relationship dramas. Still it was never "bad" and was almost always hilarious.
CUmbrbatch is good but he's blown away by Roger Allam and Stephanie Cole. I posted on the old forum Allam is the one person I want to appear for BF. Dorney agreed. It would be a dream.

I never considered it soapy (unless we have a different definition of soapy) I do agree it got a little sappy but as someone who is a bit sappy myself I liked that. I liked the character development and the growth of the character relationships. That is what actually elevated the series for me. Not sure who my favorite is but I do think Martin is one of Cumberbatch's best roles and very different from anything he has gotten since he started Sherlock. But yes Allam and Cole were both excellent as well. I realize we did Cole at Big Finish (although not in an audio I personally listened too) But I'd be all for Allam joining the Big Finish family too that would be great. I loved John Finnemore as Arthur as well. I think under a lesser talent that character could have been very annoying but somehow his performance always worked for me.

Big Cabin Pressure fan here. It's permanently on my iPod and played with embarrassing frequency.
Cole, Cumberbatch, and Finnemore have all done Big Finish. It's high time Allam joined them.

I particularly like the episode where Tom Goodman-Hill doubled for Benedict Cumberbatch. If you didn't know it was a different actor's voice, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I also loved Alex "The Master" MacQueen's one-off role. He's great in comedy.

I think that Cabin Pressure is the very best radio comedy of recent years.
I remember listening to a random episode and not thinking much to it, but when I started it from the very beginning I was hooked and have since bought all the episodes. John Finnemore is a genius. I really like his scrapbook as well.
And I agree with others that I hope that Big Finish can get Roger Allam in.
