Most will recall the Christmas freebie, Frostbite, which introduced a new for for Dorian - Mina Harker. It was presented in the form of being their first conflict, and hinted that (at least one) more would follow.
When series 5 details started to emerge, I wondered if The Valley of Nightmares might be it. It takes place the year after Frostbite, and the possibility of Dorothy Parker as well as a conflict between Dorian and Mina seemed interesting if perhaps odd (Dotty not really belonging in the visceral conflict depicted in Frostbite). But this was not the case...
Hopefully, if Scott and Alex decide for one more Dorian story, we could get this lose end tied up.

This is one of the only disappointing things in the range. Hope that the range can continue in book form, to address this loose end and give fans the chance to write for Dorian, like with the Short Trips and Benny anthologies.

This would be the order of my preference for a continuation:
3. Dorian novels/novellas/short story anthologies 2. A graphic novel or comic series (with beautiful comic art) 1. More Audios!!!

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about Valley being a possible follow-up to this. Now that leads to some interesting "what could have been" thoughts...

It's funny. When Mark Oliver pitched that idea, it was just a fun little cameo throwaway for Christmas... the fact that it's been embraced by listeners as something far larger bewilders all of us! For what it's worth, there was mention of Mina in the original final episode that put Frostbite into context... but hey, sometimes life doesn't answer all our questions. This is likely to be one of them for Dorian

Okay, yes, we knew about that, but I can't remember if we knew much about the contents of said script at all

I agree that the teasing is too cruel! We need at least a new series to make it up to us

I know we got sort of a recap in The Last Confession, but what are the odds of Dorian poking his head in during Dracula's War?

Just in case anyone isn't aware, the lost confessions release (absolute GOLD, enjoyed every minute of it) include the ORIGINAL final episode of Dorian Gray before they decided to make the final episode far more uncertain and unique. Mina does in fact play a part in it and it does put a lot of Frostbite into context. Also, Frostbite totally always felt like it was building up to something rather than being a standalone story for me. Also also, Personally I prefer the scrapped finale, but both are solid platinum.
