I'm excited. While The Doctor's Daughter was a bit of a mixed bag for me, the character has a lot of potential and it'll be intresting to see the contrast between her and her Father, being locked in one space and time and how her morality will change. The Doctor after all, typically doesn't get involved until the near end of a conflict. He doesn't really do the messiness of it, the harshness of it. A new layer to the saga of the Time War.
I could see her meeting up with Charley. Ohhh, that'd be evil. CHARLEY WILL KNOW ABOUT THE TIME WAR! Another layer to their reuioun.....
I do think we'll see Jenny in the revival one day again, though. It's too good of a hook for the audience not to do at some point, particularly with the fondness for Ten's era. I could see (vaguely referencing Big Finish's material) Jenny sitting her Father down and trying to get him to forgive himself for his actions in the Time War.

For me the problem with Jenny is the same as with Charley, how do Big Finish make her audio series significantly different to all the other female space adventurers they all ready have?
I am interested to find out more about her and unlike River, who had the benefit of appearing in several television stories, she does offer the writers a complete blank canvas.

Maybe the question should be: How do they make her audio series different to all the other space adventurers they already have? If there's room for more space adventurers (and I'd say there surely is) then there's certainly room for more female space adventurers.

I think the best way to do a Jenny series would be to have it start shortly after The Doctor's Daughter, so they can explore a character who is still very new to the world. That might be a bit similar to Graceless, but Jenny wouldn't have the crazy superpowers, and it would probably be more family friendly.

Interestingly having listend to LI Who panel recording on this weeks Podcast it was Peter Davison who brought it up,
"What's happening with the Jenny series"
Nick Briggs reply
"Well it WAS Top Secret" then the rest of the answer gets faded out.

They cut some of the rest of the conversation about it.

Great to hear. I've always thought there should be a Jenny Who spinoff. I could imagine the premise being similar to the Sonic Underground television spin-off of Sonic The Hedgehog.

I wouldn't be too interested in this - Jenny is a character whose story was told and so obviously should have stayed dead at the end of The Doctor's Daughter.

I'd be interested in seeing where they go with this. I liked Jenny.
