(Another transplant thread from the old forums).
Red Dwarf, Season 10, Eps 5-6. As usual, funny as hell.
Looking forward to next year's series!

Flash 2x02, Flash of Two Worlds. It's so weird when you're watching something where a character shares your name. I digress. Great episode, loved the 52 nod (a frequent number in Arrow and Flash, from the New 52 continuity of DC comics). The final scene looked a lot Tomorrowland in terms of setting and visuals, and the appearance of Harrison Wells (who may or may not be Edobard Thawne) will draw breathes.

Flash series 2 ep 1, brilliant opener. What did you think about the comment about Star Lab's security at the end? I knew what would happen as soon as Cisco opened his mouth.

Last two episodes of Blunt Talk.
It's a hilarious show and definitely a new type of role for Patrick Stewart as far as I'm aware (which may not be all that far)

Bit underwhelmed by both Arrow & Supernatural, Arrow lacked a serious threat & the 6 months later scenario simply didn't work.
Supernatural, decent but lacked drive somehow up until the last 10 minutes.

The Apprentice, no wonder Britain is in a financial mess if these clowns are the next generation in charge of businesses. Where on earth do they find these muppets, every season I watch the first episode hoping it will be better, only to be disappointed that yet again we have a band on people, that frankly I wouldn't employ to walk the dog. Incompetent is an understatement, alas in business people such as this go on to become senior managers, which, as you say Timelord007 explains a lot of what is happening in the country and the world.

The Apprentice, no wonder Britain is in a financial mess if these clowns are the next generation in charge of businesses. Same with Masterchef. Being on the show you're bombarded by camera attention and scripted lines, a world away from the atmosphere of an industrial kitchen. The pressure element may be similar, but professional kitchens require consistency when preparing much of the same dishes, as opposed to coming up with and preparing a new dish each day (with your place in the competition relying on the latest dish while a real life kitchen would give you another chance to get back on your feet). It's not an accurate portrayal of working in a professional kitchen. Even watching it it's edited to put more emphasis on the competition rather than the cooking aspects. For the local version at least, there's less attention on the masterclasses (where viewers and contestants alike can pick up tips at a good pace) and more on the ad break introducing slip ups (which usually also make it into the promos) and tension created during the judging process. Also, they keep starting each episode with what the prizes for the overall winner are, something that could go in the first and last episodes of the season. They've even downscaled the overseas week, a sure sign the budget is shrinking. That and there are more tasks in the Masterchef kitchen.

I've been binge-watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Almost done.
Also engaged in a Blake's 7 re-watch and almost done with that, as well.

The Big Bang Theory. It's lots of fun when scenes are set in the comicbook store and you can identify things in the background. In recent episodes I've seen Dalek posters and even a large Red Dalek. In Leonard and Sheldon's apartment you can also spot a Doctor Who lunchbox on the fridge!

Warwick Davies on Piers Morgan a wonderful hours entertainment.
Seeing Les Coca in his underpants on Eastenders has probably traumatized me for life, i need that mind probe a.s.a.p.

Watched the first episode of the new season. It was good - and MOST IMPORTANTLY: Barry wasn't creepy and possessive of Iris. Please tell me this is the Barry we'll get for the rest of the series.

"Death Comes to Town", Eps 1-4.
The Kids in the Hall (sketch comedy from the late 80s, early 90s) guys reunited and did a mini-series. So far it's hilarious and strange... true to form.
