I am all about the old skool 80's He-Man/She Ra/ Transformers/Voltron cartoon I grew up watching back in their original runs.. I am watching lil youtube clips with my boy- his attention span is exactly like a 3 year olds.. I can't say that I've seen the original 'She-Ra' (or by extension 'He Man'), but am definitely thinking about trying to track down a copy of the DVD!

Particularly after I learnt recently that the original She-Ra was co-created by J. Michael Straczynski -- the man behind Babylon 5. All the references to First Ones in the reboot suddenly made a tonne of sense...

Oh .. They are extremely "lecturely" (He-Man and She-Ra) that was the deal with the network back then. Every episode had to have a huge moral undertone "for the kids".

Rewatch of David Tennant's first season on DW. I'm up to the Cyberman 2-parter.

Night Gallery: "Death on a Barge" - A pretty lame story about a vampire...on a barge. Directed by Leonard Nimoy and includes some of the worst day-for-night I've ever seen. It appears they stole the Vaseline on the camera technique from The Web Planet!
MASH: Season 1, Episodes 22-23 - Hawkeye n' Trapper finally go too far tormenting Frank; the camp celebrates at the prospect of a cease fire. Don't get too excited, guys, you've got another 10 seasons to go...

Swamp Thing, what a amazing show, tense, dramatic, scary, why oh why was this gem axed after one season?, just proves to me DC are clueless & don't know a good thing when it clearly sticks out at them.

Another slew of recent episodes. A better week this time around.
Star Trek: Short Treks: "The Trouble With Edward" - I hate this with every fibre of my being. GameCenter CX: "D" - Enjoyable episode on par with the show's usual standard. The Simpsons: "The Fat Blue Line" - Pretty good. First one of Season 31 I actually liked. Family Guy: "Absolutely Babulous" - Also pretty decent. South Park: "Let Them Eat Goo" - Season 23 keeps its streak of good episodes rolling.

Decided I'm no longer watching Supergirl, Flash or Arrow, lost interest, after seeing quaility shows The Boys, Swamp Thing, Umbrella Academy, Warrior those generic CW shows pale in comparison.
Walking Dead on slippery ground whether I'll continue watching series 10, just goes on & on & on no hint of a endgame & I've become bored by it.

At least finish Crisis on Infinite Earths before you cut them adrift lol

Haven't watched TWD in couple seasons & have no desire to.

Columbo: "Double Shock" - Season 2 finale. This season has been more comfortable playing with the established format. On a number of occasions, you may not have seen what you think you saw in the teasers. This episode in particular takes the crown: a misleading teaser, a mid-episode reversal, and another twist at the very end for good measure. Excellent stuff. Also Columbo gets press-ganged into helping out on a cooking show and it's hysterical.
MASH: "Showtime" - Season 1 finale. Various little storylines intercut with a USO performance. While it's not an epic catastrophe paying off every plot thread on the show like a modern finale, it does offer a nice sense of closure, like we're paying a visit to all our characters before saying a temporary goodbye.

Hello again, I'm Janet.
The Good Place, well it's just as cute, clever, funny and forking surprising as ever. Four episodes in, really pleased Netflix are showing this weekly.
Friday night is brill, Bake Off An Extra Slice with the sublime Jo Brand, The Good Place and now I hear my favourite late night comedy show The Last Leg is back next week. Poor Adam Hills until Brexit is decided one way or the other, he has to wear the most ridiculous beard!

Disenchantment. Stronger footing than the last series. Good fun, and looking forward to where they take it.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Took a break from packing the house up to watch some more Classic Trek
Amok Time: The Vulcans have been our allies for two centuries and they haven’t told us about this biological urge that afflicts them every seven years where they have to go home to their birth planet before they become a homicidal menace to their colleagues... also, nobody in Starfleet noticed that this is a thing?! Other than that, good fun, although my wife side-eyed me when T’Pau was named and said “Well, this explains a lot about your musical interests.”
The Changeling: in hindsight, this is very obviously an inspiration for The Slow Motion Picture. Quite average and really let down by Uhura being right as rain by the end of the story despite having her memories completely wiped.
Mirror, Mirror: good, dumb fun. Although it does contain my major parallel world gripe that just about everything that happened in our history happened in that history (all alternate worlds seem to still have Shakespeare and Dickens and Napoleon despite there being ridiculous changes to the culture that would ensure that they never existed or lived out radically different lives) but with a twist of evil. The Enterprise has almost exactly the same layout and crew despite coming from a universe where things have taken a dramatic quarter-turn into dictatorship.
The Apple: “Tell me more about this human thing called kissing.” Total eye-roll of a story and an embarrassment to watch with someone who isn’t a fan.

Star Trek: Catspaw.
This has been one of the biggest tests of our marriage so far.
