Hello again. In these cynical times, A G Barr, the Scottish soft drinks manufacturer has managed to completely trash a much_loved children's classic. Watch if you dare as the original will be totally ruined for you! m.youtube.com/watch?v=4yZOab5gl-4

I know what don’t make me laugh, American syndicate comedy shows......
Friends, every one loves Raymond, frasier, king of queens, etc........
Just awful......they absolute drive me mad being on all day everyday........
But then I love 70’s sitcoms so my taste is nothing to set a benchmark by..........

I have to admit this made me laugh.
Translation for those not conversant with the Jewish terms:
Havdalah is what we call the religious ceremony that marks the end of the Sabbath (called Shabot or Shabbat in Hebrew.)

Hello again. I expect most of you on here know about this but the blog written by Neil and Sue Perrymen is the funniest thing on Dr Who I've ever read. Neil persuaded his poor wife Sue to watch every episode of Classic Who including reconstructions of missing stories. Sue at the start of the experiment is a Not-we aware of the programme but not a fan. The fun comes from her observations, which are hilarious. I read the whole thing and haven't laughed so much in years. The commentary on Time and the Rani and The Twin Dilemma is withering! wifeinspace.com/

I even bought the book and especially loved the story about Neil receiving a dressing down from Colin Baker for some immature humour in his fanzine.
He really has some comedic writing talent.
Since I have started on the Classic series, I always make sure I check what Sue had to say about a serial I watched...

Watching Sunday morning kids shows with my lil boy, and I hear being sung the "1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Once I caught a fish alive..." which was from the Dark Shadows AWESOME story "Beyond The Grave". I burst out a chortle

The only physical BF cd's I have in my house (due to moving out very very soon) are The Omega Factor Season 2 and 3 and Survivors Season 4 and 5.. Flicking through the cd cover for Season 5 ep 4 of Survivors "Come The Horsemen" and I notice a fairly obvious spelling mistake. Made me laugh.
<sends mental telepathy for everyone to dig out their cd slick to see the spelling mistake.......and........we are back in the room SNAPS FINGERS>
LOL

Diane Morgan playing Philomena Cunk.
I just watched "Cunk on Shakespeare", and had a marvelous laugh.

Hello again.
Made my week: Nomination for The daftest television story ever transmitted A Man for Emily from Series 3 of the classic The Tomorrow People from 1975.
Hilarious, truly awful and as Sue Perryman from Wife in Space would say, "Definitely, not for kids!"
Oh and future Doctor, Peter Davison is in it and as usual rises above the frankly, risible material.. e.g "Elmer, where's the Doozlum pin?"
The prosecution rests m'lud.

I remember watching this one as a kid and being alternately fascinated and horrified--like I knew it was something I shouldn't watch and it shouldn't be aimed at kids, but I could not help it. I watched it again as an adult, assuming I'd misremembered. NOPE! ELMER! ELMER!

No idea why I find it funny but it is
Because of the Facebook and Instagram picture problems some images have just been white boxes with text in saying "image may contain" then Accurately describing what the image should be!
Regards

mark687 I found that interesting. As in, they know what the image is but they couldn't display it.

This may be funny only to me, but I found it in a bunch of letters from my childhood that I'd saved and I can't stop laughing about this one.
Excerpt of an actual letter home from camp (not from one of my kids):
"Dear_______, How’s work? We’re having so much fun! Yesterday both toilets overflowed and Mandy kept flushing ‘em.”...
My theory is the counselor said, "You have to write home" and she just wrote whatever came into her head to get it over with.
