Remembering one of my absolute favourite quotes.
“For you see, I’m a cult figure. I’m a cult.”
(Audience laughs)
“I am! I’m one of the biggest cults round here, I can tell you!” - Kenneth Williams.

Hello again.
Kenneth Williams was a treasured piece of my childhood. Such a shame he had such a troubled life. His rants on Just a Minute led me to discover Round the Horne. However, I loved most his renditions of Norman Hunter's The Dribblesome Teapots and many appearances in the Carry On films.

A raconteur of enormous talent and a comedic genius to boot. It’s such a shame, as you say, that he had such a troubled and conflicted personal life but his it’s good to know that his contributions to the world of comedy still live on and are felt to this day.

Hello again. I'm about to lose control and I think Joe Lycett, had a wonderful story where Joe and his friend who worked at the RBS building were going through security. Both were a little merry, so Joe entered his name on the entry computer as Rhubard Bikini. The security guard questioned this to which Joe's response was "It's pronounced Ryan." "But it says Rhubard," the confused security guard countered. "It's Irish, says Rhubarb pronounced Ryan." The security guard was convinced and let him through! The story in full currently on All4.

This a bit of an odd one but I just realized that I am such a whovian that my go to weekend/night/going out look usually involves proudly and intentionally styling my hair to look like Series 10 Vault Missy ( yes the crazy teased out updo) and I always wear my 13th Doctor cosplay brown boots and sometimes even my 12th Doctor socks for good measure😄

I recently ordered a 6th Doctor costume, and I already got the boots- some really awesome and comfy ones, too. They are perfect. I have started wearing the to work, to break them in, and it did raise some eyebrows. But then I mentioned that it was for a costume (by now everybody knows about my cosplay) and now they are wondering which Doctor Who character has bright green boots (I think they only know of NuWho and if at all, only have seen a couple of episodes).

That sounds awesome too! 😊 I like Sixie’s outfit! It’s a fun look!😀 Oddly enough in my university days before I got into Classic Who and before I got back New Who, I regularly and without irony wore a striped rainbow coat not unlike the one Sixie wore 😄 on a side note in hindsight also unintentionally had crazy short curly hair very similar to 4 (yes even though I’m a girl) during the same period so if any whovians were to see me during this period I would have looked like a strange hybrid between 4 and Sixie!😄 Good luck on your cosplay! Will you have a Peri, Evelyn, Mel, or Frobisher with you?😉 Don’t forget to turn down any carrot juice offered to you! What’s your favorite Doctor Who cosplay you have done?

I wish I had been so brave back in the day wearing crazy outfits. I only now, in my old age, have started to become less cowardly. Mainly because with age, I basically stopped caring about what everybody else was thinking.
Well, for me Sixie's outfit is also kind of a symbol against workplace bullying. A decade ago I was victim of very terrible bullying and since then I have adopted a pretty definite stance against it. At my previous and my current workplace I have already spoken out several times against certain things, even towards much higher superiors. I just cannot stand by idle anymore when people are mistreated and I will open my mouth, for better or for worse. I really admire Colin, and therefore his costume is close to my heart. And, you are right, it IS a very fun outfit.
I really hope I might get it in time to wear at the last day of German carneval season in 4 weeks time. I will wear it to work, even if hardly anyone is dressing up at work (spoil sports) but I am going to spread the cheer. Someone has to lead by example, break the ice. Germans can be awfully uptight, but everybody knows by now that I am crazy, so who cares? I am not even the biggest Whovian of my company, since a colleague even drives a yellow car with TARDIS stickers on it.
For the convention...
Still trying to figure out what I am going to do and who of my friends will be along- you are right, maybe we should go as a team. I am just terrible at organizing things like that. No guests have been announced yet, but I really hope it might be Colin. I would really like to meet him. And if I do, I will ask him for a hug.
Haha, I have not been part of the fandom for too long I am afraid- did not do anything while I was in New Zealand. Only started with my River Song outfit after I came back to Europe.
I have been doing some Star Trek cosplay 20 years ago at conventions, back in the day when they did not call it cosplay yet.

Athletico Mince
I know next to nothing about football but this collaboration between the legendary Bob Mortimer and friend Andy Dawson is perhaps one of the funniest things I have experienced.
Never fails to put a smile on my face.

I work with kids and sometimes they ask me really random questions: So yesterday a little girl randomly asked me out of the blue, what kind of karate do I do? I responded with a smile “I did not do karate.” But in this moment I realized that I am such a whovian, I had to fight every impulse inside me not to say the first answer that came into my mind: “I practice the art of Venusian Aikido” and then strike a pose like 3😉
