Not sure about the wording on the news article heading. Why not Cicero Interview - Part Two?

Not sure about the wording on the news article. Why not simply Cicero Interview - Part Two?Because it is a 2 Part interview with David Lleywellyn so its accurate

Exactly, the interview is with the writer of 'Cicero'. If they'd interviewed Cicero, that would have been a story...

The Reviews on this will be interesting reading.
Very good stories but I've seldom encountered 2 "Good Guy" characters I dislike more.
Arrogant self-righteous selfish hypocrites.
Moralize about the treatment of wives and slaves and treat theirs almost as bad.
Though the villains are villainous they at least acknowledge that they work the system and call Cicero out on his hypocrisy
At least in the interviews the Actors do acknowledge this.
It picks up once the extended family and household are on the scene, Sarah Douglas as the overbearing Mother and Laura Riseborough, Samathna Beart , and Oliver Mason as the somewhat poorly treated Wife and Salves are all excellent.

Only had time to listen (or rather, re-listen) to episode I so far. Every bit as good as I remember it! Can’t wait to get to the actual new stuff.

Loving it. Besides loving it for what it is, it makes me hope some day BF might take on Tacitus or Suetonius; dramatize the Julio-Claudian dynastic trials and tribulations. Seems like it would be quite a niche sell so I don’t expect it to happen, but I can dream!

Got through the rest and finished it off on my drive home today. It absolutely lived up to the promise of the original episode. What a wonderful set of stories. I will preorder a Series 2 the day it's announced, and then wait very impatiently for its release

Five eps in and loving it. Can't wait to see where this series ends up, and where it goes next.

My take on Cicero is now up at CultBox: love how it was expanded to become so much more than a legal proceedural, delving into the social and political issues of the time. I really hope we get more!
