This is an astonishing piece of drama, crossing a lot of boundaries and uncomfortable in many places. Brilliant work!

That was... dark. Really, really dark and twisted. But i'd be lying if I said I couldn't put it down for a single moment. Very, very good release.

That was twisted, and the adult warning label was definitely needed.

Oh my
That may be one of the best releases so far this year and one the most mature BF have ever done.
If people still don't get Owen's POV on life after this then nothing will
This should be up for every award next year.

There are people who won't have anything to do with Owen, their impression of him tarred by his series 1 characterisation. This should change their minds if they are willing to give it a go. Also, it's got to be the first audio to use Weevils, which only struck me as I was listening to it. Then other things about Weevils struck me that really make me wonder what goes on in the head of James Goss to have written this. guyadams and the milk jug pales in comparison.

Broken and Torchwood Archive had the Weevils. But other than that totally agreed.

Cheers Tony Unlike you, there are people who will also refuse to listen for the mere fact of the medium it's on, and won't have the chance to experience excellent characterisation. It's not a light story, that's for sure.

Broken was just a scene with a Weevil hunt and Torchwood Archive barely featured them at all (I believe it was Jack mentioning them). Owen is King of the Weevils after all, so it'd make sense they'd be big in a story he was in.

Thanks for the warning. I might just listen to it now at work Unlike you, there are people who will also refuse to listen for the mere fact of the medium it's on, and won't have the chance to experience excellent characterisation. It's not a light story, that's for sure. I always try to give people a fair chance ... dammit, that means I'm going to have to re-ponder Ninth Doc Chronicles aren't I? Cheers Tony
