I am so sad to see this range end. So am I. Really quite gutted. I had hoped there would be more, but it seems not.

I understand that this is down to the wonders of licence and copyright issues. Its a shame that those at Canal+ cannot see that this has potentially re-awaened interest and they could not have put their property in better hands than BF.

Based on comments from Nick concerning the licensing issue it more that no one person/ entity owns the rights, there are so many hands in the pie that getting things sorted would be problematic. It was was just the studio I think they would have been granted a license already.

As I've said of the previous six volumes, this was fantastic. Such a shame that this is the final set - my fingers are crossed that at some point someone will figure out how to navigate the minefield surrounding the rights for The Avengers and Big Finish is able to secure the ability to make original episodes.

I can't disagree with one word of that. Lovely review, lovely box-set and lovely series. It will genuinely be very sadly missed. Although these stories will be re-listened to many times.

Perhaps Steed with a BF original character? DI Menzies perhaps? Perhaps Contance was Steed's first partner?

The Deadly Air (The Avengers 7.3) - the best episode of the set; dodgy doctors, vaccines, a murderer, and all set in the confines of a specialist clinic. 8 out of 10.
And so ends the lost episodes range, it has been fantastic. Im a bit sad that this is the end tbf..

This is a lovely box set, ending a consistently excellent run. Everyone involved should be very proud. There are occasional rumours of hopes to continue (I would place a preorder like a shot), but ... well, if this really is it, at least it ended on a high.
