God help me, but I would totally read a Dimensions in Time novelization. An Adamsian take on Curse of Fatal Death though.

God help me, but I would totally read a Dimensions in Time novelization. Only if it were a Find-Your-Fate style book where you could choose your own route through Albert Square:

God help me, but I would totally read a Dimensions in Time novelization. You know, it would be a hell of a challenge, wouldn't it? How to turn, what? 14 minutes of incomprehensible telly into a 25k-30k word book. That really would be a thing... maybe have the telly story as a pivotal section of a bigger Rani story? Actually, I do have a Rani story's outline jotted down somewhere that could fit into... it's so long ago I wrote the idea longhand a few years before I wrote Eye of the Scorpion... hmm... thinks...

Rummaging through papers and notebooks in the attic (which seems to have some kind of link to Metebelis 3 given the number of Eight-Legs who have been living up there) I actually found that story. It was called Instant Karma, though I have no idea why because it just makes no sense as a title for this. I suppose it was the 90s and we all liked a music reference in the 90s. The central idea is pretty solid but oh dearie me... the actual dialogue is poor. Ouch. I do hope I'm better than that now.

They will probably be a long time coming but I'd love two Hartnell historicals which I think would get a big 'lift' by being audiobooks rather than printed books:
'Marco Polo' - such diverse settings on the long journey, this is one to go heavily on the sound effects with. And if William Russell or Carole Ann Ford could read it, that would be perfect.
'The Smugglers' - again, the Cornish coast would come alive in sound. And with the many and varied character voices on offer, I'd love to hear Anneke Wills perform this. If you've heard her brilliant performance of 'The Highlanders', you'll know why.

I want the remaining few Pertwee so I can audiobook Pertwee from start to finish. Those are some of my favorite of the books too as many were written in the early days of the range when more time was put into each individual book.

Does anyone know the detail of the "rights issues" affecting the Unearthly Child renovelisation? Anthony Coburn's son kicking up a stink, last I heard. Which is a pity as the CDs were all pressed and ready to go when AudioGo went down.

Titles remaining to be recorded/released (mainstream release)2nd DoctorThe Power of the Daleks The Crusaders The what now? I was doing this at half past ten in the evening flicking between editing the post, consulting a spreadsheet and the list of Doctor Who stories on Wikipedia. By the time I was finished it was bed time for me.

Apparently Anthony Read had renovelised Horns Of Nimon but never recorded/released because of Audiogo's collapse in 2013. (Source Doctor Who Complete History)
Seems as if the manuscript would still exist

Oh yes! I'm still waiting up here on 'The Roof of the World' but the wait will soon be over.
The journey to Peking begins on December 6th, read by Zienia Merton (Ping-Cho)
