Synopsis In the midst of a snowstorm, a stranger arrives in an English country inn, seeking solitude. Soon, inexplicable goings-on at the Coach and Horses bring fear to the village.
Two very different men – the scholarly Dr Kemp and gentleman-of-the-road Thomas Marvel – are drawn into terrible events beyond their understanding.

These adaptions sound wonderful. I thought they would be readings, not full cast. I love it when BF 'springs' these things on us. 'The Invisible Man' will be out in a few weeks and I can hardly wait. And John Hurt too! 2017, you're very welcome!
I have pre-ordered this, but could not resist the free download.Absolutely brilliant so far!! John Hurt,Blake Ritson,a great combination for a cold winters night (fireside listening) I think this range is destined for BBC radio 4 extra (formerley BBC 7)
Excellent release for the start of the year, and let's hope that John's involvement with Big Finish continues, and this form of performance is ticking some boxes for John in him extending his tenure with this. Looking forward, the, taster download sounds really good.
"A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting."
I've been so excited about this all month and with the assumption that the release will be Monday or Tuesday I had it had planned to help get me through a really difficult day on Tuesday so Hurt was already on my mind. Now it's going to be almost impossible to hear. Just so sad about it. A great actor and someone whose work had been so important in my life. I'm as upset about this as I was about Bowie this time last year. Just horrible news.
