Cicero by David Llewellyn
This really infuriated me. The first 10 minutes were just really boring and slow but then the rest was really good. Standouts were of course Samuel Barnett and George Naylor but Stephen Critchlow was really good as Etrucius. The mystery was very well done and provided a thoroughly entertaining ride. The Standout scene however was by far Cicero's Courtroom speech and hats of to David Llewellyn who probably wrote one of the best scenes in Big Finish history(Yes, it really is that good). In the end, Cicero really didn't hit its stride until the 10 minute mark, but from then on it really pulled out all the stops. 7.5/10 and more please.

The Invisible Man by H.G Wells adapted by Jonathan Barnes
This was excellent. Right form the word go, everyone just took this script and let it soar above with some of Big Finish's best. The victorian setting is very well produced by the sound designer, Jamie Robertson, the original novel was adapted do audio really well, especially the technobabble scene that was written so well that you could not help but just be amazed. Of course however, the review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the lead performance. John Hurt was delectably evil, his ability to take every word and give it meaning making you want to pay attention and hang on his every word, was absolutely a gift to the world and it is saddening that he was lost so soon. I honestly don't think that a rating can express how this story was, so I leave you this. This was one of the best ways to remember John Hurt and may he forever rest in peace.

Update as I have not gotten around to March's releases as I have been extremely busy and will be till the end of April, so I will be slow in doing reviews for now until then. Apologies.
