So will this just be in region 2, or will I be able to get it on region 1? Region 2. Doubt there would be much demand within Region 1.

So will this just be in region 2, or will I be able to get it on region 1? Unless miraculously there will be a separate North America release of Downtime pressed in the future, the answer at present is no for it being DVD available in NTSC format (PAL only). US / Canada market related for the "other" DVD of interest: Other than the existence of being available to pre-order The Underwater Menace from our NA geographical market Amazons, there still hasn't been official word about a region 1 version. I'm starting to sweat a little...

Well, mine just arrived there now (5.00 pm on Sunday evening). Not seen it before though I know the outline, as getting the VHS back in the day if you didn't live in the UK was nigh impossible.

Region 2. Doubt there would be much demand within Region 1. Well, that's dissapointing, but not surprising. I wish that with small things like this, people would just use region-free DVDs. I can understand why they normally don't because otherwise people could order internationally, but it seems like that would only gain them money. Although I do have a Region 2 DVD player (as well as Region 1), so this isn't actually an issue for me. I'm just annoyed for other people.
