That BBC America tweet is a quote from the Series 10 trailer, yet somehow people are reading it as build up to a new Doctor announcement?
Unbelievable.

What would be the point of reading 'Something's coming' when we already know what that 'something' is? Also a coincidental quote after betting was suspended on Phoebe-Wallet Bridge.

MOD HAT ON
Okay please enough with taking a million random tweets off Twitter and posting them here. These people do not have any inside scoop on Doctor Who. If you want to say I saw people talking about "such and such actor or actress" on twitter as a possibility then that's fine but you don't need to bring all their tweets or posts over here. Those tweets are not proof of anything and it's getting a bit much.

What the ****? You should be thanking me for keeping this thread alive. This thread is 30 pages long I don't really think it's in danger of dying.

It will be without potential rumours and spoilers being posted. At the very least can I suggest a seperate thread called 'Doctor Who rumours from the internet'?

What the ****? You should be thanking me for keeping this thread alive. If you felt you had to post all these links, why didn't you just create one separate post and updated it every so often? All the spoilers/rumours I posted were in three or four seperate posts kept inside spoiler tags for size reasons, posting lots of random tweets in separate posts clutters up the forum for no reason and comes across as needless spamming.

Because this way it keeps the thread alive and at the top of the Doctor Who section. If we felt it needed to be at the top of the Doctor Who section, we would "sticky" the thread. So far there is no reason to do so - it's just a collection of tweets or conversations from other forums. There are better ways to include information from other sources, but not constantly posting the conversations. If you have something to say that you genuinely believe needs to be shared, you could say something like "I heard from Twitter that..." or "somebody on Gallifrey Base (or wherever) had heard...". Leave it at that. If members here think it's worth discussing, they will discuss it. Cheers Tony

See Bobod's reply when you last suggested this. If people want gossip - and that's all it is - from Gallifrey Base, then they will happily find it on Gallifrey Base.

It would just end up being the same. You could always create your own separate website where you can post all this information to your heart's content and then link to your site on here. Cheers Tony

What the ****? You should be thanking me for keeping this thread alive. You aren't keeping the thread alive. Youre killing it by spamming it with inane quotes that are not actually rumours or speculation.

Gallifrey Base is well-known for being the number one source for spoilers.

Mate, you've now been told - like it or lump it time.
I'm also pretty sure Gallifrey Base is a private forum you have to register for, it's very bad form to nick info from posters thinking they're posting in a private (albeit large) forum. If someone took my posts here and started sharing the then debating them elsewhere on a forum I don't even know about much less post on I'd be...well...I won't say, but I wouldn't be happy about it.
