I read about it. I can't do any more with my blog though otherwise it counts as a late submission.

I see. Is the blog a school project?
I'd be interested to know what you think about the Sesame Street story, anyway.

I think it's good that a pre-school programme is introducing an autistic character but it really should have been done years ago. It's a shame that it has taken until 2017 for a show like Sesame Street to introduce a puppet with autism. Still, better late than never. It will help considerably to teach toddlers that anyone with any kind of disability is the same as everyone else.

A film called Jane Wants a Boyfriend has just become available the lead character has Autism and also stars Eliza Dushcu (Faith from Buffy as her older sister)

Nope. Way too expensive. No need to be so terse, the man was offering a suggestion to you. A simple answer with some courtesy wouldn't go amiss, such as, 'No I do not have Sky but thank you for the suggestion anyway'. So this is for your college course? As someone who works in the field, I'm puzzled as to why most of your analysis for the work you did for the 'Fred' film is mostly about travelling on public transport to get to the filming location? Do you not think your college tutors would want to hear more about the production role you took prior, during and after the filming?

No need to be so terse, the man was offering a suggestion to you. In that case I apologise to mark687, I didn't mean for it to come across that way. Yeah, it's for university. My mentor thought it would be a good idea because it shows my experience and how I managed to get around my disability in order to fulfil a film production role. I think it will be fine because I had a blog supervision meeting and the blog supervisor said it looked like what they were looking for.

For those interested this blog received a mark of 68 from the lecturer, particularly praising the 'My Experience: Unlucky Fred' post. He said he was genuinely moved by it.

That was a good post, as I said when I first read it. Yeah, it was definitely the strongest. The feedback said the two posts about the BFI Diversity Fund were probably the weakest of the 10, which I agree with. I could have probably done more with that.

With regards to video/TV production studies, I think your 'Fred' post could have included a breakdown or analysis on your actual production role as Production Designer rather than a travel log of how you got to your college and filming location. Never the less, it's a good blog on the troubles you experienced using public transport and the understanding from your fellow students.

Never the less, it's a good blog on the troubles you experienced using public transport and the understanding from your fellow students. That seems like a reasonable point. I think the reason why the focus was mainly on the travel is because that's where most of the autistic problems came in but I suppose I could have linked it in to communication when trying to decide with the group how we were going to acquire Fred's drawings.
