Kinda odd picking something so arc-heavy for an offer. I suspect some baffled purchasers.

When were those times? I do agree that it's an odd choice to pick something very continuity heavy and offer it in isolation. It's a shame that they don't do required listening lists for the behind the scenes page.

Next week's offer hints at a highway man. Could it be The Doomwood Curse, with Dick Turpin?

Another offer I already own. One more thing I won't be spending money on this week.

Thank! Gods and Monsters was out of left field and a surprisingly continuity heavy selection. Doomwoord Curse is a very fun story, and light on continuity. Any of the Sixth Doctor and Charley stories are excellent IMO. I was fully expecting Doomsday Quatrain for The Girl Who Died, since they both share the actor David Schofield. They did Doomsday Quatrain for Sylvester McCoy's birthday sale already though, so I suppose that's the main reason they didn't go for it. The only other Viking story, Black and White, is part of the same arc as Gods and Monsters and equally as arc heavy.
For the Zygon two-parter I predict the three Zygon stories Big Finish have done or a UNIT Companion Chronicle.

I got it a while back on a "listener's choice" offer and am dissapointed they didn't do more of the black and white stories this time. Still, I got the Tom Baker offer earlier in the day so my wallets glad not to have to shell any more money out this week

I've just gone through the list of titles from the Listeners and it's not among them. Can you find a date? It should be on the order in your e-mail or somewhere on your BF account, under My Orders in your Settings. I know Protect and Survive was on sale at some point in the last two or three years.

It was a "vote for the story you most like to see on offer from each range" sort of thing. I got Gods and Monsters, the Last Post and the First Sontarans. I'm on my mobile at present but could look the date up later

It must have been a specialised sale, which is why I was unaware of it.

I fully sympathise, I'd be like "there was a sale I missed? How did that happen???" There are times where I'm like "if only I knew about Big Finish/this range when this sale was on/this product was available" and "if only I had the funds to get everything what I want", sometimes at the same time. One thing I would have done if I had the finances at the right time was buy the Stargate CDs before Big Finish lost the right to sell them, and buy the Main Range 1-50 before they went OOP. There are Dark Shadows titles I would have picked up in previous sales that were on when I didn't know about it or I hadn't heard the titles I now like, such as the first full cast season.

When Gods and Monsters, or at least Black and White, was released, a sale with all the relevant backstory would have been excellent, and would also have plugged a big sales gap (the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Hex stories specifically). Again, a recommended listening list attached to the product page would come in handy. ********** pages indicate that previous stories are required, but don't list any specific ones.

It was January 2013. I'd not really been much of a big finish listener for years, having stopped subscribing after the first three years. after this purchase I didn't come back until a couple of months ago and am kicking myself for all the sales I've missed in the meantime

I'd say almost all 7, Ace and Hex! Ok, maybe not, but a whole lot are. I just listened to this one recently and I would be miserable if I hadn't heard most of their audios prior to it. i don't even think it's that great a story. Very complicated and convoluted.
