Oh, wow, there's an image. Well, if they ever were to do another film adaptation...

I listened to the episode at the end of this week's podcast. I don't think I ever saw it on TV and don't know if it ever was on TV in my area. It was entertaining, but not entirely to my taste or I wasn't in the mood. I have more than enough to listen to anyway and spend a load of money already at Big Finish, so I will pass on this.

Just listened to the free download - wow, that took me back! I've preordered this first set anyway, but couldn't resist. Here's to a world of tremendous model shots, espionage, gun fights and the man with the deepest voice ... in the world, probably. Great escapism.

I listened to it as well - just didn't work for me. With Gerry Anderson's creations I enjoy the visual aspect of the puppets, etc, more than the story. Having a TV soundtrack with added narration, nah, not for me. If only they did a Terrahawks and re-write Captain Scarlet to optimise it for audio. I absolutely love what Big Finish have done with Terrahawks

Although a re-imagined UFO on audio produced by Big Finish would be interesting...

Listening to the free episode now. It's not bad, similar to the Doctor Who lost episode soundtracks with linking narration.
Not sure it's for me but appreciate the opportunity to listen first without having to decide "blind".
Cheers

as I pre-ordered physical copies of the lot, I wonder/worry about how they will be sent I have updated/expanded the phone numbers for the delivery address in case they use a courier...

Gerry Anderson official Tweeted the Boxset as being the 1st release and I asked BF the other day if they'd the Collectors Boxset and the Spectrum Files together and they said "Probably"

Just listened to the trailer for the first of the Spectrum Files and I've got goosebumps. To think, a John W. Jennison tie-in done by Big Finish. Very cool. SPECTRUM is green.
