I'm pretty sure you can

I'm not so sure about that. I seem to remember than when BF first started offering The Scarifyers it was mentioned in one of the podcasts that there was no download purchasing through BF. I could be wrong. You can. I downloaded them through the app to do a relisten the other day.

'Cold Call' was excellent, great work all round to come up with this in such short order and the usual top 'Scarifyers' quality. And as an M.R.James fan {Spoiler} of course I loved hearing some more 'Scarifyers' thematic nods to 'Casting the Runes', going nazad to where this wonderful series all began in a way!

Thoroughly enjoying this series! I laughed too much and too loud with the latest Black Comet instalment. Keep up the good work.

Dropped by the Bafflegabble website...and was instantly drawn to this on the homepage. View AttachmentNo official listing on the site nor as far as I can see an official announcement...but could a new Scarifyers be coming soon? An audiobook, shame. I love the series but its release schedule is quite infrequent.

That is a perfect Scarifyers title isn't it?!
There was a mention when 'Cold Call' was released that we would be getting more Scarifyers 'in audiobook form', probably both are audiobooks because of the current difficulties with assembling casts for recording. Whichever format, I'm eager for more Scarifyers.

As I recall, they first announced audiobooks as part of a drive for new writers?

Plus one for more Scarifyers in either format, but if it turns out that audiobook is the road they travel I hope it will be Terry or David W or even David B narrating in character and in the first person with maybe the occasional breaking of the fourth wall thrown in for good measure.
Until then though I'll carry on plugging the gap in my collection between The Curse Of The Black Comet and Cold Call - just picked up and currently downloading The Secret Weapon Of Doom for a listen at some point during the week (I'll squeeze it in somewhere between all those reruns of Jago and Litefoot..😊)

Here's one for fellow fans of 'The Scarifyers':
It's a tiny bit of a spoiler for anyone who hasn't heard the later stories, but I was delighted to find that 'The Wickedest Man in England' (who I suspect is a much better & nicer person in the adventures than he was in real life) really did own Boleskine House overlooking Loch Ness.
{Spoiler} When they restore it, I do hope they remember to put back the Croquet Lawn to keep those *cough* unexpected house guests happy!

If noone buys the DLs of the 'Scarifyers' back catalogue because it's a podcast, do they still get revenue from it through advertising 'clicks' on the podcast or funds summoned by Ouija board or the Totleigh Witches or something? (I am so ignorant about the economics of the "free" web.) Or is this now mostly for publicity for future releases. (Which can't arrive soon enough for me! )

Won't be to everybody's tastes I know, but as things are right now I'll take any new Scarifyers in any format that I can get.

Audiobook will do very nicely, more 'Scarifyers' just in time for the weekend. Thanks very much Brigadier you pipped the email to the post. Probably because I didn't look for it until after I read your post.
