Clearly, we will soon have a trilogy of stories featuring Walt Disney as a companion. Not gonna lie: there's some mileage in a story where the Doctor and Walt Disney face off against drawings coming to life. Maybe a Short Trip? Call me Briggs. Flatliners wasn’t it called Peter Capaldi -i liked that one but hated the ending -way too easy wasnt quite drawings but good concept

BF obviously look at the situation in 2019 as the only people buying CDs are collectors, which is pretty much the way the world is going anyway. CD's are becoming less and less essential as a way to listen to anything these days, be it music or audio stories. As mentioned above by 'number13', all CDs are 'collectors editions'... so buy them while you can!
Am not a collector. I don’t look at the financial value of the item. I just enjoy the CD listening as a preference and i still have two portable players. I can figure that People buy the CD and get the download too then immediately put the CD on EBay and recoup whatever the loss was between the CD and the download cost. I also know there are things i am missing from my Cd collection i may never get as am not going to pay an extortionate price for an item.If i do not get it i don’t get it there is always the download. Then there are things that i have on CD that i don’t have downloaded-its not a problem. I figure Vinyl made a resurgence and one day Cds will too. But in future am not gonna sweat it if there is no CD. But I do not like being labelled as a COLLECTOR lol just an CD fan IF BF reversed the out of print they could make a profit again. Repackage the original Runs-at limited amounts at full price as i believe a lot of the earlier range deserve to be heard and they are doing a disservice to themselves and could be making money, better than knowing that some fan is paying an extortionate amount for one item when he could be buying six from them. And update these repackaged Cds with new interviews I buy the cd’s mainly because I always get them cheaper than the download, then rip them to iTunes. Would I go download only? No. If ones have the money to buy direct, fine. I don’t. I’m a consumer I don’t want to pay full price.

So, a "Collectors' Edition" is now defined as: a title on CD which willl go OOP after a given period.
All titles on CD will go OOP at some point, therefore all CD titles are and always have been Collectors' Editions, we just didn't know it. Even though many of us are Collectors. Glad they've cleared that up. Lol! Maybe they hope this makes them sound more desirable and will clear them out of the warehouse faster by calling them that?

From our conversation yesterday on another thread: ... I haven’t done any of the short trips... Paging @causality - we have an offer for you!
(That was gooood timing and I take full unjustified credit for it )

Nice to currently be getting a lot of Charley episodes. Since I doubt her final box set is coming any time soon, I'll gladly be buying those short trips with her. Plus India Fisher is one of BF's best narrators in my opinion.

Yes I did love the last box set eventually but am wondering wether I might just enjoy wee individual stories still set during her time with 8 and 6 maybe a story with a bit of fun set in the DIVERGENT looking back wasn’t a lot of fun to be had in there.

The 2019 winner is Ben Tedd’s with “The Best Laid Plans”! It is a twelfth doctor story performed by Jacob Dudman
