Okay thoughts on Kiss of Death, Equilibrium, and Thin Ice? I don't have any of these yet!

Ice Time is really solid tale
Kiss of Death can work as a standalone story
Equilibrium is more linked to its trilogy though it is a very good story.

Depending on the status of my bank account I might get Thin Ice. Shame Frostfire's CD-only though.

I haven't heard Frostfire, but the other three are all very enjoyable.

Ok going to change the question around if you could only recommend one which would it be? I may still get all I just want to see how enthusiastic people are about them.

Kiss of Death and Equilibrium added to the collection. Just 23 pre-200 stories to collect now. 10 Davison, 6 Baker and 7 McCoy stories. Hopefully the sales are kind to me for the next few months and I can rattle that down to single figures by the McCoy Birthday sale in August.
Thin Ice is a great story, I thought. I don't think it is thought of too highly though it tends to be the best rated of Season 27. Can't go wrong with Ice Warriors eating fish fingers.

Its a really cool (no pun intended) blend of how the show would've carried on the 90s with touch of 2005 style,

Thrilling, ingenious, wonderfully acted and written; my favourite MR story of 2015 until it was topped by Criss-Cross (also by Matt Fitton). It is the middle part of a Five / Nyssa / Tegan / Turlough trilogy set in E-Space but the links are like the links in the Fifth Doctor's TV era; they connect but don't run through the stories. It's set on a ‘fairytale’ world of beauty and mystery, but that's just the frosty surface. On Isenfel, all is ordered and stable, all exists in balance – until the presence of new arrivals changes the system. I can't say anything more without spoilers, but it's a superb, exciting and thought-provoking story, with great writing, performances and sound design and most highly recommended.

Of the stories on offer this weekend, Equilibrium would be my favourite. It is a really good story; well written by Matt Fitton with great performances throughout. A very strong Fifth Doctor Main Range release that is part of a trilogy, however it can be listened to outside of it's next door neighbours without the listening enjoyment being spoiled. Enjoyment is the operative word for this story though, as it is an enjoyable Doctor Who adventure and highly recommended.

If I have the money, I'm thinking about grabbing myself a copy of 'Equilibrium' (I already have 'Frost Fair' and 'Ice Time', so might give 'Frost Fair' a listen to at some point next week...)
Quick question, has anyone else in the UK's CD-copy of week one's offers arrived yet? Only my copy of 'Criss Cross' hasn't come through yet...

I strongly recommend Frostfire and Equilibrium. Keep in mind Frostfire was the first Companion Chronicle as well as the first release in that format, so there are still some kinks that were later ironed out.

One of Davison's best, in a year that gave the 5th Doctor some extraordinary stories.

Suggestions for 'Knock, Knock' - I suppose we want ghost stories:
MR 'Night Thoughts', 'Chimes of Midnight', 'House of Blue Fire', 'Winter for the Adept' 4DA 'The Darkness of Glass', 'Cloisters of Terror' J&L&Strax - 'The Haunting' (tenous connection, great story)
Others?
