In this room everyone learns the truth. And neither of us will be quite the same when we leave."

I admittledly didn't get the Dollhouse because as far as settings go 1970's LA did not hold my interest but WWII ala French Resistance is more my style.
Not to mention Simon Russell Beale is quite exciting regardless of no regulars.

This sounds cool but... wasn't there supposed to be a Jack story in this run? I'm sure that was confirmed a while ago...

Yeah, that as well. They were both mentioned when Series 3 (or the next 6 considering they dropped the series thing) was announced: "That doesn't mean we won't be keeping the regulars busy - Ianto's going to have a tough time, Gwen's on a road to nowhere, and someone finally dares to say 'No' to Captain Jack." www.bigfinish.com/news/v/more-torchwood

If it means testing the waters with smaller and original characters to expand the Torchwood universe I'm all for it. Although World War II France isn't the most original of locations. How about Oriental countries, or the South Pacific region?

What a coup to get Simon Russell Beale in a Torchwood. The man is a living icon of theatre, one of the true greats. Anyone wanting to check out some of his audio work - get the BBC Le Carre adaptations where he plays George Smiley. They're just fantastic.

Ooo' sounds amazing,
Hopefully from the sound for the news we're getting even MORE TORCHWOOD... I can't wait, they are on a role with them...
I might be looking far to much into things but could this finally be when The Forge and Torchwood meet?!?!?!

Apparently Gwen on a road to nowhere was a tease rather then a confirmation an idea that will hopefully be done one day.

I am totally thrilled about Lizzie Hopley's involvement. She's done some fantastic Dark Shadows work for Big Finish, among other things. The rest of it sounds exciting too. Yeah, that as well. They were both mentioned when Series 3 (or the next 6 considering they dropped the series thing) was announced: "That doesn't mean we won't be keeping the regulars busy - Ianto's going to have a tough time, Gwen's on a road to nowhere, and someone finally dares to say 'No' to Captain Jack." www.bigfinish.com/news/v/more-torchwoodWas it Camille's character who might be daring to say "No" to Captain Jack? Has the originally scheduled Torchwood story been moved to the Lives of Captain Jack boxset maybe?

I just think they've had to move things around a bit, due to actors and witters availability... I mean, from the sounds of it we are getting more news in the next couple of weeks, I'm hoping for another Torchwood One box-set if not a series, and even another Cardiff outting too!!!

Anyone want to suggest that Herr Grau ends up in a charming Village by the end of the story?
