That's not the big announcement and they clearly say that in their post.

I suspect it's David Tennant, seeing as he'll have family in town. They could carpool!

That would be my guess, with this kind of hype. But you never know till you do.

I bet it is David Tennant. I just saw that he is going to be at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, WA earlier in the same month.

Huh. It's Capaldi. I was certain it was Tennant. Thought there was an outside chance for Whittaker. (The joke among my friends was that we were pretty sure it was the Doctor from Broadchurch.)
I'm not complaining, because I'm much more interested in Capaldi than I am in Tennant.

Capaldi was fun to meet. And there was a huge crowd trying to get in to meet him at Supercon last year. I was so glad I had a fast pass, which gave me priority seating and shorter lines for photo ops and the like.

Every day I feel worse and worse that I can't go.

If I didn't have a show running that weekend I would totally go. Everyone who does attend, please let the 12th Doctor know how much we love him and how much we love Big Finish!

It is going to be lots of fun, but a bit more crowded than in the past. As much as I might like to say something to him, I'm still not going to pay $105 for a photo op or autograph from Capaldi. I'll see if I can ask him about Titmuss Regained or Neverwhere in a panel.

I'll see if I can ask him about Titmuss Regained or Neverwhere in a panel. The only way I was willing to pay for a photo op with Capaldi was I split the cost with a friend. We skipped the autograph. I agree it’s a lot of money.

It's been great so far! Lisa Greenwood showed up unexpectedly at a Big Finish panel and I had a front row seat! She's such a great guest!

That was fun to read. I'm glad you bought Peri and the Piscon Paradox, it's a fantastic story. And glad you had a good time. Maybe I can go next year - I won't be studying for any tests next year.

He gave a bit of advice that will stick with me: Jokes in a humorous story should always serve the story and should be cut if they don’t. So much truth. I can't tell you how often I ask the question, "but how does it serve the story?"
