I just listened to last week's podcast. I had to laugh at Nick and Benji's hunt to find the Spreadshirt link (for the BUCK UP shirt) on their own website.

Good podcast.
For anyone who is interested the term "oxters" is also used to refer to armpits in Northern Ireland as well as Scotland.

And on the long side, I see. Do they not realise we've already got things to listen to this weekend?!

nottenst was that your email about Paul Darrow that was read on the podcast today? Good email! Thanks. I haven't heard it yet, but I did send an email that started about Paul Darrow on June 20. Edit: Just heard them read my email and then say that my name sounded like an inventor of pencil sharpener/trowser press, but no other response to the email. On the other hand, they didn't say that I was the one who commented on their FB page post about not-liking their funny voices in the top 5 countdown.

Weird.

The new Big Finish Original with Alex Kingston is out next month. It probably qualifies as mysterious and exciting and I hope they'll get everyone hyped about it. That whole range has been excellent.

As well as the first episode of Blind Terror, there's a trailer for The Ultimate Evil.
There's also a very err....bizarre clip interspersed in the first 30 seconds. Like an advertisement. But not for anything I recognise. "In association with "Lynyrd?" Getaway dot com, vacation to the stars."

Possibly? But it's certainly odd to be put into the Podcast. And I suppose it could be just Nick joking around about Summer holidays or whatever, but it was a females voice as well, where normally for those type of jokes he'd just do it himself. I dunno. A part of me wonders if its perhaps a tease for some upcoming audio.

The vacation to the stars tagline makes me half wonder if it's an additional line added to The Ultimate Evil - a reason for the Doctor to go rummaging through the Tardis cupboards for the Holiday Ball?

It's probably Lunar Getaway, it's something they've been promoting on their Twitter a lot lately, but I've never really known what all that was about. Maybe I'll dig a little deeper and see what I can find...

twitter.com/hashtag/LunarGetaway?src=hashtag_click&f=live Here. All their tweets under the hashtag #LunarGetaway. It's weird. It seems to be the next Lunar mission, but they use it responding to tweets from multiple sources, most of them newspapers/sites. The first one seems to be on the 11th of April. I don't know what it's supposed to mean! Are they teasing something? Is this something the CM (community manager, not Counter Measures XD) is really passionate and vocal about? Thoughts?
