I saw someone make an interesting point that maybe Big Finish could get the licence from Marvel Television to do Agent Carter audio dramas. There is quite a dedicated fanbase for the show, and a lot of them would love a Season 3.
Given Big Finish is releasing a Torchwood Series 5, perhaps if they did manage to get a license for Agent Carter (similar to how BF originally had the license for the classic series of Doctor Who and nothing else Who-related) Season 3 could exist through audio?

The show was cancelled due to low ratings. Given there wasn't enough viewers in the States to keep it on the air, I seriously doubt BF would bother taking a look at a series that is already lacking in audience support. While I enjoyed the show, I honestly couldn't be bothered to buy audio's based on it.
Also, Graphic Audio already has the license for Marvel products and I suspect that likely includes properties such as Agent Carter.

Big Finish is aimed more at fanbases though and Agent Carter has a very dedicated one. Also: Graphic Audio may have the rights to Agent Carter, but if they have why haven't they released a Season 3 on audio? It may be they just have the rights to the comic book versions.

Having the rights to do something does mean that it will or even should happen, the reasons why Graphic Audio have not released a season 3 could range through no one has thought about it, or they've looked into it and decided there is no margin in it or Marvel has asked or indicated to Graphic Audio they'd prefer them no to, and so on.

Sorry to be picky but surely you mean licence and not 'license'. License is the verb which Marvel would act to give, the receivers (Big Finish) would hold a licence, the possession, the noun. You may need to learn the difference if writing about such things in college media essays or dissertations, as marks can be deducted.

I have a mentor at university who checks things like this for me for my university work.

Just handing out some advice as higher education looks for these things. Prevention is better than a cure as they say. I wasn't aware you had special circumstance with your work, fair play. Well at least you now know the difference between the two in British English.

Nah, Atwell will be too busy being the Doctor to do any Agent Carter stories for BF.

If Big Finish could get Hayley Atwell in to do a series I would rather they gave her something new. Something fun like the Adventures of Milady de Winter.
I don't watch much superhero movies or on television, but I did watch the Captain America movie with her and on the back of that I watched Agent Carter and enjoyed it.
But personally I would like to hear her in something new and I would doubt that after StarGate Big Finish would want to take on any other cancelled US series.

Personally I thought Agent Carter was a load of rubbish. However, Hayley Atwell is no stranger to Big Finish so I'm sure the bods at BF Towers could come up with something a bit more exciting for Ms Atwell than Agent Carter!

I hugely enjoyed Agent Carter, and Hayley Atwell is a fantastic actor. She needs to be The Doctor at some point.

Marvel's owned by Disney and I can't imagine Disney be willing to part with anything, especially Marvel-related, lightly. It's well out of Big Finish's current wheelhouse.

Are they as protective over Agent Carter as they are over the Avengers though?

I'd expect a large organisation like Disney to want to keep hold of all licensing (in case they want to revisit it at any time). Even if they were happy to let other companies produce stories, I would expect the licensing fees to be ridiculously expensive. These firms don't tend to deal in $thousands.
Cheers

I loved Agent Carter, but this isn't really something I could see Big Finish or Marvel/Disney doing. I still hope we get a one-shot or something to wrap up the lingering plot threads, though.
