Finished the set over the weekend and am listening to the behind the scenes material. It is interesting that the final story, Solus, was intended to be a S2 story with Blake, but was rewritten after Gareth Thomas died. The title of the box set fit quite well. Lots of double-crossing in the set.
The whole set was a nice return to B7. There are some nice interviews in the BTS. I am looking forward to the next box.

I also like all the writer interviews in the BTS - great hearing where they were coming from in writing their stories.

Solus.
Despite her prominence on the cover, I was beginning to feel a little under-served by the use of Servalan in this box set. So, what a delight to feature in this story, two of the blighters! I think this is my favourite story from the set - a rollicking good full-cast, full-crew story. Lots of good things for everyone to do, and the actors - always wonderful - aquit themselves to the demands of the story. I've loved previous stories and their habit of focussing on iundividual members, but to get the crew 'all together' is great and a satisfying finale to this strong and solid set of stories. It's great to have Blakes 7 back in the BF universe, and I eagerly await the next lot!

Close Enough is fantastic and maybe one of my favorite things related to Blake’s 7. Period. Who is Sophie Mcdougall and when can we expect more from her.

I listened to Spoils of War last week and enjoyed it, overall. Pretty good set of stories. I especially enjoyed Close Enough and what happened to Avon in that one. Listening to Solus, I couldn't help wondering how amused Jacqueline Pearce must have been to play an eviler than the real Servalan computerized version of her character.
