Just finished this yesterday. I thought it was an entertaining story. I had thought that Vinny might return at some point in the story, but I guess he did die going through the gate. I wish there was more contact with his people. Julie Graham was great as the villainous Carolyn. She was very nasty. The ending for her seems a bit ominous and I wonder if there will be a followup somehow.

Finished this today. Following my enjoyment of the first two parts, the second half was pretty average, if I'm honest. And that's a good thing, because average Doctor Who is enjoyable in a way that average anything-else often isn't! And yet I wish this TARDIS team had a really engaging, character-based story which made a focus of Mel and Ace together and their relationship with the Doctor, rather than just a bit of a runaround. Mel has apparently got older and wiser during her time away with Glitz, but listening to this, you wouldn't realise it. Julie Graham seems to relish her somewhat cliched villain's dialogue - and she is very good. This is a nice story, but I feel I've heard it several times before.

Well, that was rather good. And what? Paz has joined the ranks of deleted members?

Well, that was rather good. And what? Paz has joined the ranks of deleted members? Agree, I liked it much better than most (it seems). One detail which was pleasing were the strong hints that their ancient science {Spoiler}came from the same source as the Daemons' - who just possibly (me speculating) were some of the powerful opponents who had forbidden them to build ships and enforced the ban with their own powers? That ancient war could be a great prequel-sequel to this story...
And sadly, yes he has.

Just got on to the third episode, and seems decent enough so far, but oh my lord, some of those attempts at Scouse accents are painful.

... but oh my lord, some of those attempts at Scouse accents are painful. Not wishing to offend any of our friends from Merseyside but I think the Scouse accent is painful to listen to anyway!

I quite enjoyed this one. I'd love for the villains to return. I thought they were creepy and their backstory was intriguing.

I hate to say it, but it's only 6 months old and I'm having a hard time remembering it.

Enjoyed the story idea and thought it was well carried out. I liked that it linked back to Mel's past and was trying to remember if her friend was someone who had ever been brought up in Missing Adventures (but haven't looked it up).
