I know he wasn't a young man, but I could never really imagine a world without Litefoot. Now I suppose I'll have to. Selfishly, I hope Big Finish has one or two more stories that they've recorded but haven't released yet. It saddens me so much to think that we'll never get a Jago and Litefoot audio again.
RIP Trevor Baxter

How terribly sad. A brilliant performer. I think another listen of The Mahogany Murderers is in order.

Such sad news to come home to. He was a wonderful actor, and was so so great as Litefoot. Think I'll have to rewatch Talons or listen to Mahogany Murderers tonight.

Very sad news. But what a remarkable legacy for us Doctor Who fans. Who would have thought that his character (Litefoot) along with Henry Gordon Jago would be given a new life thanks to Big Finish. I shall treasure all the releases I have bought. Wonderful stuff. RIP sir!

I saw the news on my phone at work and literally said "Oh no!" loud enough to get a couple of stares. Truly sad news. Fantastic performer who always seemed to make great choices. That he was a huge classical music fan was another huge mark in his favor. That we have so much Jago & Litefoot to enjoy remains something of a miracle and for that Mr. Baxter, and Mr. Benjamin, has my deepest thanks.

There could never be enough Jago & Litefoot, and that is primarily down to Trevor Baxter and Christopher Benjamin's wonderful performances, which were so full of life and warmth, and joy. Not a line was ever phoned in, not a moment was ever false, nor an opportunity wasted. And those voices! The loss of Trevor Baxter physically hurts, and I was just a listener and a fan. I can't imagine how sad today is for his family, and the friends and colleagues that had been blessed enough to know and spend time with him. My heartfelt condolences go out to them all, as well as to all of my fellow fans on this truly sad day.
Martin Landau, George Romero, and now wonderful Trevor Baxter as well? It's been a brutal 24 hours for losing legends. But just as their legacies will all live on, that work they leave behind is their final gift to us all. And it will be a gift long treasured, just as they themselves will never be forgotten.

Hello again.
I've just been on the Big Finish website and read some sad news. Trevor Baxter, best known by us Who fans add Professor Litefoot has died.
A talented character actor who gave us many hours of joy as he worked with Henry Gordon Jago played by Christopher Benjamin as they solved mysteries in Victorian London.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at Big Finish.

I was thinking last week that it was odd to not have a announcement for series 14 of Jago & Litefoot yet and hoped that the gents were both okay. Anyway and again, let us celebrate the awesomeness that was Trevor Baxter. I'll raise a pint of bitter in his name tonight.

RIP Professor George Litefoot.
Jago and Litefoot has been the best Big Finish spin-off range. A toast to Trevor Baxter, Christopher Benjamin and all those at Big Finish who made every series a reality.
I guess this means the last adventure (chronologically) is The Jago & Litefoot Revival. Appropriately pairing the duo with the Tenth Doctor in his specials year, saying goodbye.

Jago & Litefoot is hands-down my favorite of the Classic Who spinoff audio series. I never would have expected that before I started listening to them. It's sad to know that there wont be any more, and sadder still to know why.

What's really wonderful about Jago & Litefoot is how many people got to know him. Christopher Benjamin, Lisa Bowerman and David Richardson, all the writers and actors. He must have been a joy in the green room.

I've been wanting to do a J&L re-listen for a while. I guess I'm doing it now. Starting with a watch of Talons and then I'll move on. Here's to Trevor Baxter!
