On my MP3 I have a mix of BF titles and music. Sometimes when I finish a BF story I let it continue into the next album (not quite shuffle I know). Today I had Parallel Lines by Blondie, which fitted my mood as I commuted from the station to the office via breakfast!

I'm spreading my listening around at the moment and trying not to be BF/Audio Drama exclusive (shock, horror). This morning I listened to: AC/DC - Back in Black, Hells Bells
This afternoon was: Bensem - Western Lights
Cheers

Currently listening to Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. Shine on you crazy diamond... Cheers Tony That's my favorite Pink Floyd album. My selection for the day is Manhattan Intermezzo American and British Words for Piano and Orchestra. With pieces by Neil Sedaka, Keith Emerson, Duke Ellington, and George Gershwin. Not that I needed another version of Rhapsody in Blue. I do like the version by Mitch Miller. He was in the touring group for Gershwin and made notes on how it was played.

Bruce Dickinson - Balls to Picasso (2 disc version). Its a very underrated album and the b-sides on disc 2 from the Myke Gray and Keith Olsen session are really interesting, with some great songs on there. Although i've heard there are still some unreleased songs from those 2 sessions, which i would love to hear.
May do a fan version of this some day lol

Not really a full album, but the last set of songs Layne Staley recorded. (Get Born Again, Lying Season, Died). Definitely not my favorite Alice in Chains songs by a long shot. But even at his very worst, he was well beyond most singers.
Just.... **** heroin.

Listening to Heavy Crown by Last in Line. Great old school Rock by the the late Jimmy Bain (and early members of Dio). It's an excellent debut album, just a shame there probably won't be any more.
Cheers

Bob Dylan-Blood on the Tracks. Where has this album been all my life? The local pub I go to, admittedly a bit hipster-y, takes requests for songs and one night someone asked for Lily, Rosemary And The Jack Of Hearts. I swear, just about every one of us sung along with every line for all 10 minutes. A relatively obscure, long rambling song from an album over 40 years old and all these people, young and old knew every word. Great memory. All together..."The festival was over and the boys were all plannin for a fall..." It's just a seminal masterpiece, the whole album. If you haven't heard the album Hard Rain, check out the live version of Idiot Wind from that. Jesus...it's the most intense Dylan ever from the peerless Rolling Thunder Revue tour of 75-76.

Bruce Dickinson - Accident of Birth (2-disc version)
Such a great album and a return to metal form for Bruce. Ghost of Cain should have been on the album proper rather than a Japanese bonus track
